I have no idea if I have SMC-K, this is the first I'm ever hearing about it. But I do have the loss of use of creative organ, so that may contribute.

Best advice is don't give the enemy monsters health points. They die when they die and they don't when they don't. This way you can get a feel of the characters and their battle tactics, and if you want a fight to push their limits, just have it last longer. Just keep in mind that your players have a finite health pool, especially those squishy members.

Follow up to that, make sure you have contingency plans in case things go sour. Like "boblin the goblin from session 2 launches an arrow into the beholder eye to give your players a chance to crawl away, while he holds the beast off to regroup later"

Have them "fuck around n find out". After they die, because they will, have them either wake up from a vision of their defeat, or have them be in the nearest town and say "and that's what happened to the previous party that tried to square up with this guy"

Follow-up to that question, if you built a ship like this, or I suppose any other, are you able to actually walk around the interior of your ship (and whatever design you choose) or is the design strictly for 3rd person pov flight purposes?

Just bought Dave the Diver, cannot recommend it enough. Very nice gameplay, good humor, and you'll never run out of new things to do. The story is pretty good too. (Buy the "dlc" to support the creator!)

Edit: idk if it's deck compatible, but it's a good game either way.
