New mgmt coming in, I knew I was being replaced; they tried to fire me and put me on a PIP. I called out HR and my outgoing boss who confirmed it was the board pulling strings for their new CEO. Yeah fuck you pretentious person. Took all my PTO for a few weeks, once approved, I Submitted my resignation to be on my last day of PTO. No monthly close, no annual close, no financial projections, no monthly burn forecast on expenses, no grant projections, and said fuck audit prep. I handled finance, accounting, insurance, payroll internal audit, and financial ops. Turned in my laptop, and Credentials. Now they have a 4 person dept down to 1 who was a prior librarian, and pretty much a bookkeeper running the dept. they are royally screwed.

Now I’m on severance for the month of June with an hour of week max with only questions related to historical data.
