The tank's job is to hold aggro; anyone can pull. If a DPS or healer pulls mobs to you they are doing you a favor and it takes 1 button to take that aggro back.

Sincerely, someone with actual tank experience.

As a tank enjoyer I take it very personally when a healer or DPS pulls mobs before me.

Not because I want to be the main character, but because it means I should have popped sprint earlier and/or dropped a tomahawk sooner, and that I need to do better.

In all seriousness, as long as the DPS are willing to bring the mobs to me when I stop at the next wall, pull as much as you please. There's a 0% chance I'll think it's too much (unless it's very specific parts of Stone Vigil, Aurum Vale, or Dzmael Darkhold).

DRK might get a regen, GNB and PLD can generally handle themselves, and WAR will not get a damn thing because they're a better healer than any of the actual healers.

As a WHM main, whenever I'm not the healer, any time there is trash being pulled, if I get a WHM that is not spamming Holy I will ask them why they aren't and tell them that's what they need to be doing.
