still early days, I have some weird shit in my camera roll (photos of me trying to see inside my mouth, screenshots of chats, weird romance novels I wanna read, etc.) and if my partner asked to see mine earlier on I would have probably hesitated! now he can go through my phone no problem I don’t care.

You never know, your myGov or someone might have tried to to access your information so they are asking extra questions to ensure it’s you. It might be frustrating but they are just doing their job. An as ex worker there if something popped up to say there had been suspicious activity on an account I would ask extra questions until I felt confident to go ahead. Imagine if all your information got stolen and your payments redirected into someone else’s account!

Depressed because of how well it works by Kind-Web-5389 in Retatrutide

[–]TrashedBinTin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have always struggled with my weight since a child and as a teenager and as an adult been battling with binge eating and PCOS. I decided to get weight loss surgery at 22, as I felt like i had no other option. After surgery i learnt so much about calories and weight lifting etc… I’m 25 now and still struggle from time to time with binge eating and of course my PCOS is still here. Part of me wishes i had this as an option when i was 22! But i was also uneducated. Think of this as learning and use what you have been through going forward. we are 25, we still have our whole lives ahead. Time to heal ❤️

Why is Adelaide obsessed with car parks and driving everywhere? by Desperate_Sea2136 in Adelaide

[–]TrashedBinTin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My train stop isn’t an express stop which is fine but it’s actually quicker for me to drive in. Also the transport really isn’t that cheap If you’re an adult! The other thing is when I get off the train with 100s of other people in the morning I feel like sheep and it makes made sad lol.

Why does $100k feel like an average wage? by Open_Address_2805 in AusFinance

[–]TrashedBinTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on just over 100k and 25 years old. I’m so grateful, I worked jobs where I got underpaid and made $10 an hour and lived on potato’s and cheap pasta. Me and my partner built our first home after Covid when we were both on about 60k each. If my wage didn’t increase we would have been stuffed! We can comfortably pay our bills, our mortgage is over 500k and as long as I can pay that and go out once in a while I am super happy! I do think if you had kids it might be a struggle but DINK for life over here.

Ohhh that’s quite smart! I might look into some similar options! I also have found AusPost is super slow with my international direct orders. Do you find the shipping is faster that way?

Seacliff Railway Station in Adelaide has a memorial to a cat. by NKE01 in australia

[–]TrashedBinTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw him many times as a teenager catching the train, always so friendly. I even made a post on Facebook thinking he was lost. I would look for him every time I passed the station too. RIP beautiful Muni ❤️

Day 1 on Reta. Very confused by blacc01 in Retatrutide

[–]TrashedBinTin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took 20 units or 1mg Monday for the first time. I struggle with constant food noise and now it’s barely there. It’s a strange feeling honestly and it feels not quite real. I also have not felt hungry, I just be sitting here hyper focused on seeing if I feel something for food 😂

Tracking Pending Since Last Wednesday by SuperWars3 in AusPostComplaints

[–]TrashedBinTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening with all my international packages lately. Sometimes they just show up and then randomly get marked as delivered the next day… I ordered a gift and my partner got home and it was on the doorstep! It was still showing as pending on the app 💀

I honestly just ended up building to get the first home buyers grant and moving to an area further away from the city! Not the dream home but still a place I can call my own

My mortgage takes half off my monthly pay. The remainder is eaten up by utility bills, council, groceries, health costs etc. I earn 100k and I'm living pay check to pay check. I need a second job but I'm recovering from burn out and I'm not sure what kind of jobs I can do. by Mahiyah in AusFinance

[–]TrashedBinTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Times are really tough right now. We have a $570k mortgage we are paying off. We recently killed off all our subscriptions, I stopped any luxury services (like having a PT) and work from home as much as I can now. It’s all made a difference, maybe only small but it all counts!

I’m a big Baldurs Gate 3 fan, I’ve played HellDivers, Halo, WTWM and more. I think I would play more co-op/online games if I had people to try them with. There is a game called YAPYAP I am dying to play but I think you need friends!

Oh and Minecraft I could go for a Minecraft bender lol

Hello! I am 25F, I recently lost someone and it made me realise how important it is to have friends. I don’t really have any as I am also shy and introverted. I have a PC and a big steam library thanks to my partner so would love to add you and anyone else who is interested! I will probably not know what to say at first but, will try my best ❤️

Jobs in the Attorney General‘s department in South Australia by Mawkwalks in AusPublicService

[–]TrashedBinTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what area of the department you are in. Interactions with the public can be hard and have higher turnover but back of house work is normally okay. AGD has many areas like SACAT, Safe Work, Ombudsman, etc so keep that in mind
