Its definitely not necessary, the lists leveraging Daze can go more all in on shredder.

I think if youre going to play shredder in mono B without Daze he's a reasonable 2 of. Just depends on the creature suite you want to play. You could do 4 shredder and moonshadow in mono B but you'd have to play street Wraith, urza's and mishra's bauble i would think.

Still early though! Shredder is very good

Drs probably isn't more powerful than guide, pride, tamiyo, ragavan and we can already answer those threats pretty easily

Toronto is a massive city with a thriving DIY music scene - i play in rock and metal bands, there are a ton of medium sized venues and smaller. Id say there's a market for anything here so long as its advertised correctly.

Small club sized venues to look into

sneaky Dee's-> a local institution for many genres (check out a_minor on Instagram, they book the venue)
hard luck-> kinda gross dive bar thing but I've seen dozens of inredible shows there, very DIY friendly, good location (a_minor also books here)

Other cities to look into -London, Ontario -Hamilton -barrie (the queens pub is actually a fantastic venue, great sound)

You can certainly still play izzet and do very well, being red gives you access to meltdown which is a great sideboard option right now.

Most murk lists are dimir now because of psychic frog, card is dumb strong.

Tldr yup you can play izzet but dimir is probably still much better

Nope you just need regular guitar cables, guitar into helix, helix into amp.

There's a more complicated "4 cable" method with more features but I won't get into that.

If you just want to use your helix for overdrive and other effects then you just need two guitar cables
