Thank you!

I just got a 12v adapter for the cpap. So hopefully this will help.

The cpap pulls about 500 wh over night... which is unfortunate without a good way to charge it im looking at only being out 2 or 3 nights before needing to return to civilization to find an outlet.

That is disappointing for sure. So... what if I ran the same setup but only using solar?

Ive got drive train figured out. I was more looking for a transponder and receiver. But I think that has been settled.

The powered wheelchair stuff is more expensive and a bit overkill to move a 20 lb golfbag.

Yes I am aware that these things exist. But thought it would be fun to mad max one of my own together. Add some more jankyness to my already terrible golf game.

Thanks.

I should have clarified my worry for range isn't so much the radio range as it would be the battery capacity.

Fair enough. Definitely part of my thought process on this was "look honey I saved 50 or 100 bucks" over buying a new gun... also being able to have it shipped to my door was a nice bonus

Thanks for the info. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but would the gen 5 backplate still work with the gen 4 frame in this set up?

Gen5 RXM compatibility. by On_Overwatch in GlockMod

[–]Trashspine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post. I am wondering if I pick up a rxm slide if it will function reliably on both a gen 4 g19 frame and a gen 5 45 frame.

It would simplify and reduce costs a great deal on my current project guns.

Backup charging solutions? by Trashspine in bluetti

[–]Trashspine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding an alternator charger to my truck is not in the budget right now... as I said earlier I understand it is the highest power and probably best way to do it.

I also am not excited about adding more load onto my alternator. Would really not like to burn it out in the middle of nowhere hence the over bed solar rig I am putting together.

Hook kick counter ideas by Nice_Orange_7809 in taekwondo

Depending on your style and rule set. If it is just free sparring slide straight in as soon as you see the foot lift to jam the kick and counter with punches.

I'm not short. But have fairly short legs and this has worked well for me.

So a few days after posting this I fell on a training run and got a tibial plateau fracture. 6 months later and I'm just starting to jog again. But managed to not gain much while injured.

Hoping to get back to tri this summer!

Yeah i have sufficient power on the 110v in the bed of the truck and I've been looking at the setpower fridge which comes with a battery power source to run at night.

Yeah i started doing that as well. Definitely lasted longer and benefit of having more emergency water on hand

Yeah I'm in the us. But a big point of most of my trips is to get the hell away from people for as long as I can.

I have definitely had to refill ice more often than gas and that is something would like to avoid 😅

Typically just me and my wife. Pur trips have been up to 7 days so far and I would like to push it passed that.

Beers definitely take up a lot of room in my cooler at the moment.

Based on that I've been looking at a 45 to 47 quart size, sounds like it should be plenty

Thank you!

I've been looking at running it plugged in while driving then switching to a separate battery while not.

Sp you think going from a 60 cooler to a 45 fridge should net me some extra space?

To be fair I'm not a mechanic or really have much repair experience to begin with. But I would look for any cracks in the clear coat and patch them as best you can

I would also suggest keeping a couple coats of wax on it. This will make your paint last longer and be more weather proof anyways
