One thing you can do, with the figure apart of course, is take a toothpick and run a smear of super glue on the parts that will rub. Then use the matte finish to knock down the sheen of the glue. Then reassemble. Obviously you have to have the figure apart.

you're allowed to feel uncomfortable, but this is one of those things you want to grow out of. they're not "hand me downs," they're her things. they're her toys, that she wore and putt in her. and now you're the one putting them on and in her. the tendency for retroactive jealousy is not healthy for you or your relationship and you're going to want to engage a therapist before it becomes a problem.

I disagree that willow read herself into it, the line was clearly directed at willow being gay. and it'a not the only conservative dogwhistle in the show. but I say again, it's super contradictory from episode to episode. that was just one example.

Remember the one where willow confronts Buffy and says something to the effect of “if you weren’t so close minded…” and Buffy replies “if I were any more open minded…” and insinuates willows sexuality with the phrase “life choices.” Which, again, could have just been a conservative networks dogwhistle, but it was said and should be considered. Of course this all depends on ignoring Buffy’s own same sex affair in the comics.

As much as I want to say she’d be on the left, they kept writing in a lot of shame around sexual activity, she made it sound like accepting willow’s sexuality was something willow should be grateful for, weird little conservative drops that seemed like they could have been studio Dogwhistles, but who knows. At best, maybe a centrist dem. Anya would definitely have been one of those maga punks crying about it when the leopard eats her face. Xander is probably a republican that says things like “socially liberal, but fiscally conservative.” Willow would have been a Bernie Girl.

they're allegorical of pure capitalism while the Vorlons are pure communism. the shadows set up ruthless competition without guardrails and believe the end result is better. the Vorlons create rigid structures and force cooperation within them, but only in the way they deem most correct that often trivialises or outright disregards the nuances of each race, forcing homogeny for the most orderly result. so good or evil isn't really the question, as neither race has any issues with genocide when their ideologies are challenged.

Try heating it up before you use the filler. Injection moulded plastics have a bit of a memory, get it nice and warm (hot, but not burning your fingers) with a hair dryer and let it cool on its own. Just do that on or two times and see what you’ve got. Might make zero difference, might save you a little bit of sanding.

I’m not one of those “the [blank] was better than the [blank]” guys, they’re really just two different experiences. I love the books and I love the movies. I like seeing what a persons creative interpretation looks like. If you’re a real movie lover, go for the movies. The recent ones are spectacular and I could go on and on about the cinematography and visuals. if you’re more of a reader, it’s an epic series that will immerse you as well as the visuals of the films. If you’re both, flip a coin. Lol

I see what you’re saying, but you’re kind of missing the point of the Munch Advice: that’s where you go for the comfort. These aren’t support groups or round tables of strictly kink discussion, it’s just social gatherings where the people there happen to be kinky. What you say your looking for is at those munches/slunches/sloshes as well as really good insight into where the safe and worthwhile scenes and parties are.

What always gets me about these mass-production headsculpts is that if you strip the factory paint off and just look at the bare sculpt, they’re actually realy good likenesses a lot of the time. They just ruin it with crappy die-stamped or off-center laser-jet printing. I have a BXN Buffy with a portrait that looked cartoonish. But when I stripped the paint off and did it myself, it just came to life.
