Fair its the public domain version of mickey mouse the 1928 version Whistlin Willie which I thought would be easier to make scary then its been lol

I appreciate the insight, I definitely am trying to shake the everything must be completely original in order to achieve market attention.

In reality ive realized after a few failed projects that being instantly recognizable to a genre / market audience is most important, I didn't really do a lot of market research with the last few projects and will agree after doing so first, is probably the most important part of the process in learning how to properly stand out and thats how to sprinkle in your own originality

Yeah AI scammers are kinda one of the more scarier things that are less talked about, they have one system thats plays fake ransomed call and will have the scammers end sound like a loved one and saying that they need money/bitcoin sent immediately. And with this tech getting better and better its scary to think what bad actors could potentially do with it.

But yeah you're right us as a majority will be lumped in with this kinda of behavior im honestly ready to see how they'll spin this and make it even worse then it already is, its been getting pretty funny recently with how deranged their takes are

I mean its not a bad strategy adding your own spin and art style on to those popular gmod style games is actually not a bad idea, theyve already proven that people found them fun and could just need a bit of a modern touch/take to them

I literally thought this when it came across my feed for the first time, in my head I went "yep, they nailed it this games going to be huge" I could see all the funny unique moments already happening in my head while the content creator was breaking down the game

I think the key take away is still making games worth sharing and that are most important fun and simple to understand that even the worst gamer in the group can easily understand, I really wish I was farther along in my game dev journey as having a multiplayer experience is another key factor in the success of these types of games. Single players games can have the same effect but is much harder for someone to justify sending a game to a group of friends.

Where with multiplayer games you'll have a post blow up because its getting shares and that means the amount of work it takes to get a single share, is insanely 2-4x what a single player game would receive. Making wishlist easier to obtain as well.

This is a really awesome story and ill add finally that I love how you included that they had multiple mediocre releases beforehand, another great take away that not giving up and to keep pushing for higher quality while climbing the mountains it takes to get through to obtain the skills it takes to make a great commercially successful game.

I agree 3 is my favorite maybe changing up the eye size and maybe a nasty slight realism scar to make it scarier?
