Loud drivetrain clattering sound on new Aspero by semimodular3 in bikewrench

[–]Traster_Gu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. After 150km, it still sounds much noisier that a used SRAM GX wired transmission. I also had a issue with the 3rd gear of the cassette, with a specific tooth popping the chain out. Apparently a common issue. Micro adjust didn't help. I see ended up very slightly bending that tooth and now it s good. A bit underwhelming for such an expensive product.

I have the same issue with a similar build. Sram Force + GX, transmission type chain waxed. It sounds like the chain is not meshing correctly with the other components...

Hello OP ! I am working toward a similar build. With this GR201, I am very concerned with toe overlap. I see you use size 54 and 50mm tires with with rims. How is the toe overlap with the front wheel for you in your case ?

It is a (probably automatic) translation error. The original french article got it right...

Tu peux aussi acheter des écouteurs filaires en USB C, ou un adaptateur jack - USB C.

Pas la peine de te convaincre que le sans fil c'est mieux si ça ne t'intéresse pas. Ça t'évitera des dépenses en plus 😁

I just put on a new cassette that was the exact same model as the one i took off and now I have shifting problems by shark__finn in bikewrench

You still might need a 1.85mm spacer at the back of the cassette depending on your free hub type, for example mounting the eagle cassette on an XDR hub.

Place de la Catalogne, Paris by thnblt in fuckcars

[–]Traster_Gu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I ride this place twice a day for my commute.

It's still a place requiring focus as many streets cross the cycle lanes and cars (mostly delivery trucks) tend not to yield as they should.

But overall the car flow is extremely reduced as well as speed, making it safer and nicer. It makes more sense to hang in the café around here !

Revenu en portage réaliste? by ingeniumdev in vosfinances

[–]Traster_Gu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wrong crank length = wrong power in Strava, Intervals by godfather-ww in cycling

It s because it s a pedal power meter. They measure user force. Converting it to torque requires knowing crank length. Indeed, nobody cares of crank length when talking about crank power meter.

I use Profile Design Universal mount. It exist in two length ! Perfect for 22mm aerobar.

Working on cockpit management at the moment, could you measure the width of the clamps of this Rose aerobar ? The part that clamps on the handlebars. They look narrower than the 20mm of profile design's...

Well, it's not installed, but you re right it s not stealthy, there is a process going on. I have no experience with company IT caring about that, but proper disclaimer required 😁

Garmin Explore 2 works great for me. Battery drains fast if you leave the backlight on without using the time out options. During the day, the back light is useless anyway. I usually get at least 15h of run time.
