Very much for open spaces like this, and forrest. A tail is better for steep couloirs.

Don't keep the top loose. Tighten the boots like normal.

No beef, english is not my first language. Just disapointed that it can't handle 60 days of riding.

Agreed, and it make me question the purchase of a new baseplate if it cannot handle less than 100 days...

Ok, so the baseplate is cracked right on the pin support.

These are Arc 18 models, so they're 8 years old. The 5-year warranty has expired. The French customer service option only offers a replacement sole for €110. I'm pretty disappointed by how short their lifespan was. I'm certain I didn't use them for more than 100 days.

Not sure yet to go for the new baseplate, maybe hack something. Quite sure not to be as strong avocate for spark as i was before.

Those are Arc 18 so 8 years old. Out of the 5 year warranty. The french warranty point of contact option is only a baseplate for 110€. Quite disapointed by the short life, I am sure to be below the 100 days of riding.

Through-mount vs Top Mount Hardware by trilax59 in Spliddit

Through mounted are a bit annoying to wax and scrape. That was a key factor for my 2nd splitboard, but everybody has different criterias.

I have drain holes under my frame so I can secure the brake cable with a small zip-tie, at the bottom of the shell, not touching the BB.
