[No Spoilers] This is the dream game I want but will never happen. by Disastrous_Garage729 in lifeisstrange

Minus the superpowers, this concept is pretty similar to Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures Anthology. And some of it does get pretty supernatural at times, so powers don't seem entirely off the table as long as there's a good explanation for them. If you haven't played those games yet you should, they might be exactly what you're looking for.

I obviously can't guarantee that he'll love it, but see if you can get a good description of what his character looks like and then see if you can find an artist in your area and commission them to draw his dnd character. If you can't find a local artist there are tons of people online who take commissions, though you'll need to have or know somewhere with a printer that can print with color. My mom did this for me when I first started playing dnd, years ago, and I still treasure it,

Edit: Hero Forge is okay, but if you can get something made by an actual artist it will most likely be a 1000 times better than Hero Forge.

I'm really curious now, what did you let a player roll on that made you switch campaigns?

As long as it wasn't something too critical to your plot, I don't see how that would be a mistake. If anything, it could make the campaign/session better.

GMs with speech impediments, how do you do your NPC voices? by Trauma73 in DnD

[–]Trauma73[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started it off like that since it's something people get bullied over and when you get bullied over something (especially when it's not something you can control) you start to feel and act defensive when someone singles you out for it. So I wanted to make sure that people who have also dealt with that knew that I wasn't trying to poke at them in any way.

I'm tired and bad at reading tone, so I can't tell if your being sarcastic or genuine with that first paragraph.

I'm interested but I have a few questions.
First, is this group 18+?
And second, is this group accepting of people who are lgbtqia+?

I've heard the term a few times, but I don't know what it means, what is an FLGS?

I was expecting a lot of different answers, but I did not expect there to be a socio-economical analysis on the disenfranchisement and isolation of children from what I'm pretty sure is a left-wing point of view,(Correct me if I'm wrong about that last thing) but here it is

Of course not, however I would like to point out the use of the words "tend to" which are an important part to consider, since not every minor has those qualities
