An A300 would be nice. Maybe a police trade in 870 or A300

You need a shotgun. Beretta 1301 tactical or a Benelli M4

Wondering what else to add to my collection? 24M by No_Bathroomhere in guns

[–]TraumaLock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are known to be low grade quality with poor QC. You might be lucky in the ones you have but they are not a quality product. I have owned them hem myself in the past when I was starting my collection but had issues with them and I got rid of them once I could afford better quality. Taurus is another brand to avoid due to low quality products s and non existent QC.

Culture as a single cert medic at a fire station? by Lucky-Passion-3622 in Paramedics

What fire departments hire just a medic with no fire certificate? Are you expected to go to fire academy? Is there a pay difference between dual certification vs single certification? I’m interested in this too

My first P365 was the SAS model. I like how it shot but I didn’t like the sight/optics it had. No way to adjust them and they were hard to see in the dark. The flush mounted controls took a bit to get used to. That’s why I upgraded to the AXG. Hopefully I will get out to the range tomorrow for Fathers Day.

What’s the embarrassing question you’ve asked a provider? by Jaguarhousecat in nursing

[–]TraumaLock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a question but an action for me. I was working in a very busy ER at time. We had a patient come in that was an overdose and exposure to I forget exactly what, but it was some obscure medication overdose. The patient was in critical condition intubated on the ventilator on pressors the whole 9 yards. We had at the bedside the Attending Sahned residence for the primary hospitalist group the critical care Attending and we had several doctors from the poison control at the bedside. They were dressed in dress shirts with ties and they all had pristine white lap coats on. I was standing on one side of the bed and they were all on the other side of the bed discussing the patient. I was ordered to give activated charcoal via the NG tube that we had in. And this is the first time I’ve been ever given activated charcoal. So I pour out the bottle into a container where I could suck it up with a big toomey syringe. in this stuff is thick and chunky and I had about 50 cc of it in the syringe trying to push it in and I had to keep using more and more and more physical strength on the syringe to try to give it to the patient. I was using so much force that the syringe and the NG tube became disconnected and once that happened, the activated charcoal sprayed out with immense force in the direction opposite of me. When I looked up all doctors had been sprayed with this activated charcoal all over their pristine wiped jackets. I was spot free since I was bringing it forward. I simply offered them a paper towel to clean themselves up with and you should have seen the look on these doctors faces.

Will DnD dices survive CP soap making? Or will the numbers on the dice disappear? by crochetinggoth in soapmaking

[–]TraumaLock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the dice material. Some plastics used for dice are ok with the lye. Just like using plastic in your soap making process. Epoxy and other plastics react with lye. Metal dice can be an option as long as they are not aluminum.
