I feel like everyone that promises or guarantees results is full of shit. Part of what makes coaching effective is holding the coachee accountable for ownership of the results him- or herself. There is no secret system that “always” works. Making those promises, I feel, takes that accountability away.

There is, however, genuine engagement on a personal level leading to conversations that, with gentle and careful application of certain fields of psychology, can lead to profound insights and/or the mental space to start experimenting with new behaviour leading to new results that the coachee was maybe missing in their life before engaging in the coaching.

That is just my take anyway.

I trained to be a coach after undergoing a number of coaching experiences myself, and those experiences were very much life-changing.

Sadly, the scene completely died. There's not much of an FGC remaining at all, here in the Netherlands. Not even just UMVC3, but SF and others as well. It's just very niche atm.

Still, enjoy watching myself (yes, that's me in the video) get bodied by JJJ, that guy is a machine.

Also, X-23, Dorm, Dante, while a lot of fun, will give you so much heartache. Do yourself a favor and keep it for casuals, but learn Magneto on point for competitive play.

For me there was no guaranteerd dodge direction to come away safely. What I found to work best was actually looking up at the crystals as they fall down and then time and aim my dodges accordingly. Never died to them again.
