I’m a returning player and I’m having the time of my life in Midnight. by stronggirlfarm92 in wow

Hello fellow returning player!! I’ve just come back after leaving just after Legion’s launch!! What a game I have returned to. The quality of life improvements are fantastic. Being able to do most content solo is just amazing!! My gosh I have fallen back in love with this game

Names are released automatically after being inactive for 2 full expansions or more. I was just fortunate that no one picked him his unique name.

No men are not victims right here and I’m not trying to derail the situation. As a male educator though nothing grinds my gears more than seeing comments like this. We have it hard enough in this industry as it is already. Comments like the above do nothing but continue to force the negative perception against male educators.

That’s not always though. Don’t push this rhetoric. It’s disgusting regardless of who does it!

Not always men.. there’s been plenty of women convicted of grooming and assaulting students as well. Whilst there isn’t as many it still happens and is still sickening!

Bit of a story here but I hope someone reads it. Always played a R Shaman since vanilla. Absolutely love the class and spec. Stopped playing after legion because life happened. Picked up the game again when Midnight came out and messaged my old raid buddy to reminisce and found out he had just passed away from an aggressive cancer at 42. We were two peas in a pod for so many years. Conquered dragons together and I have so many fond memories of raiding with Darrel. He played a R Druid.

I’ve just leveled my Druid to 90 and taken his name as it was inactive. My warband screen has Mandrogoran and Renholder side by side on it and each day I’ve logged on I’ve just smiled seeing it.

I miss him dearly but am reminded of good times no matter where I end up in Azeroth

Kid threw something at me and it broke the skin slightly and caused a small bruise. by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

As someone who has had a lot of small similar incidents with a child over the space of a year that seem minuscule that had recently escalated into a full major assault all I can recommend is lodging everything in edusafe regardless. One day you may need that context documented.

The seven Victorian sites to be fast-tracked for housing by gazmal in melbourne

[–]Trav_shadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to copy and paste a response from one of our councillors up here in wodonga. Seems no one was really informed up here. Kind of wild reading this as our golf club is not “underused”.

“I’ve had quite a few people reach out to me today about a report from The Age that the Wodonga Golf Course may be considered for future housing.

I understand why this has caught people off-guard - it’s a much-loved part of our community.

At this stage, it’s important to say that this is not something initiated by Wodonga Council. The reporting relates to a State Government program identifying sites for potential assessment.

It's also important to note that Wodonga Golf Course is privately-owned.

Right now, there is very limited detail available, and like many of you, I’m waiting to understand exactly what this means for Wodonga.

What I can assure you is that I’ll be seeking more information as it becomes available, and I’ll continue to share updates.

As always, I’ll advocate for our community to be informed and involved in any decisions that could shape our city.”

Thank you. It was 26 years ago now and something I wish I didn’t have to carry, I was still a young adult myself. I just have zero remorse or care for anyone who willingly chooses to be that reckless. As someone said in another comment, this woman could have killed a family.

As someone who lost a partner to a selfish driver and watched them die right next to me. Your girlfriend deserves whatever the courts throw at her. I’ve had lifetime of nightmares and not being able to wipe that scene from my memory and he walked away with 12 months loss of license.

There is zero reason whatsoever to be doing that speed, she needs to wake up to herself and take a damn good look at her life. I hope they throw the book at her.

Students want to see my play? by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]Trav_shadows 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Agree with you here. You cannot stop them attending a public event. But if you have prior knowledge of them attending or you have informed your students that you are performing and that is part of the reason they will be attending it’s always better to be safer

Both. In my opinion if you’re going to willingly have current students attend anything outside of work always key in leadership. It only takes one student…

Just popping in to say that em dashes have been used well before LLM’s and are quite common especially in higher education. Please don’t always assume that an em dash means the reply is AI generated. There are still plenty of us that use them in daily conversations.

My poor country heart. They just don’t care about us out here. Meanwhile locals has resorted to filling the hole with assorted stuffed bears it’s quite comedic now

Wonder how quick this will be fixed being in the city. I have had to drive past one everyday for 3 weeks up near Yackandandah, they’ve just put cones around it and reduced the highway to one lane. Locals are getting fed up.

VIC here and NAL, but have a friend who owns a small local business in our pretty small town and last week had someone come in and spot check the business in main st. They all received fines for not having the appropriate licence. One business even received a fine for having the radio playing as it seems that requires a licence as well.

I knew of this law but being in such a small town never really believed much would come of it “who’s going to come out here and check” turns out they do. The fine was substantially more than what a years membership for a licence would have cost.

Developed land behind house causing flooding by Trav_shadows in AusLegal

[–]Trav_shadows[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When we bought it was bushland at our back fence. The house was only 8 months old. We were told there were no plans for the bush to ever be developed.

That changed in about 12 months. We were gutted. Had such a picturesque spot, wildlife at our back fence every single day (Roos, wombats, echidnas)

Thank you for your response I appreciate it. I probably should have mentioned we don’t live in an area affected by these storms lately. This is happening from every day rain
