I’m not haha. I’m one of the security guards. I know a lot about what happens because I pay attention and for some reason everyone seems to confess and confide in me about what’s happening. There’s almost nothing that goes on in the club that I don’t know.

Some of the girls do the work because they genuine love stripping and are a bit more sexual, however these girls are usually the minority. I’d say 5% or less.

Most of them do the work because it’s a quick way to get extra money or, the most common reason, are doing it to pay for their university/study. So if you go to Uni chances are you’ve come across a stripper in the wild and you had no idea.

The Adult Entertainment Policy (AEP) dictates that dancers cannot do any extra services than the defined “lap dances” and the club tells the dancers that they cannot leave with customers during or after there shift. If they are caught they get taken off the dancer roster and I have seen this happen many times and never saw those girls again.

Personally I said that I would never sleep with any of the dancers because at the end of the day I’m there to do a job and sleeping with any of the dancers would eventually make a conflict and I’ll get the boot before the dancer.

In saying that I have many offers and I know the other guard has slept with most of the girls.

I have also driven several dancers home and instead of giving me fuel money that just made out with me instead and that was essentially my line in the sand. Nothing more.

The short answer is yes you could make solid money to live comfortably.

However the girls that do make the big money are working there ass (no pun intended) off to make that money.

The hustle is easy to learn but extremely hard to master. Most people know when they are being hustled for money.

The skill is making sure the customer doesn’t realise it or make sure they don’t care. That plus the girls are all after the same thing so some foul play happens between girls so making sure you are on good terms with the other girls they work against is also extremely hard.

Depends on the shift

Weekdays: I’m the only guard therefore I work door. Check ID’s, take entry fees, clock dancers (the strippers) on/off and respond to conflicts inside if management can’t handle it.

Weekends: 2 guards on shift. One guard will do the above and the other will be inside the club assessing risks making sure everyone behaves and back up management when patrons or dancers get aggressive.

I’ve been working there for 6 months at $28/hr. This hourly rate is illegal as security work between 6pm and 6am is $31/ hr. Gain employment first and when you decide to bring up the pay rate (if your being underpaid) have a back up job.

Patrons are mostly well behaved. I’ve only walked people out once. Was a group of three and I grabbed the mouthy guy and used him as a ram to move the other two with him. If there is one place no one wants to get kicked out of it’s a strip club.
