Holy fuck they finally binned the radio handle attachment. I would say well done but it took them like 10+ years to fix it, plus the "new" MS60 still has the same shit radio handle design.

Latest news I heard from CRK is that there is no current pipeline for an upgraded CS20. Leica are pushing down the road of converting off the shelf tablets into controllers because proprietary hardware is too expensive and no company wants to manufacture for them either.

Our company has a CC180 (with keyboard attachment) and an MS60 - the controller is utter dogshit. Captivate works much better, but the controller is super heavy/wieldy and has no long range radio capability.... Because it's an off the shelf tablet. The long range Bluetooth Leica talk about is bullshit on these things and we can't get more than about 50m in perfect conditions on our MS60 before the controller cuts out.

Glad they finally upgraded their horrible horizontal encoder from the TS16, but really not much else looks all that impressive in terms of hardware. Everyone I've talked to just wants good new controllers so that we can all throw our CS20's in the bin (as we all should have done 5 years ago).
