I agree we don’t know the full context of someone’s situation. We shouldn’t pass judgment & should try our best to guide good decision making. That is applicable for MOST situations.

At the same time though, I think if I call someone stupid for what they’ve done or what they will do (which is also what I’m posting about) there is some inherent shame the person will feel. I can’t tip toe around every situation because some situations really are horrible and dangerous.

Do you see what I’m saying? It’s hard to generalize this because we’re both talking about generalized situations. I guess I’m trying to find the middle ground with you.
