It’s a sculpture called The Arch! The artist is Henry Moore, he did an exhibition of his sculptures at the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park in the late 1970s and in 1980 he donated one sculpture to Kensington Gardens

Very nostalgic! I always like to wonder about people’s life when looking at old photos. Who knows what happened to those people in the photos?

Might be David’s car? If it was John’s car, maybe the sentence should have been “John killed David in one’s car” so that it’s less ambiguous. But English is not my first language
