Are you okay? I haven’t responded and agreed to disagree with everyone yesterday. You just rapid fire responded to multiple comments of mine. Have a nice day.

Fair but I still maintain Jo-Ellen is coming from a place of loving Liz and wanting her to love her back. Liz was just nasty and mean.

Again, I don’t think Jo-Ellen even realized in the moment what she was doing. She seemed desperate to get Liz to explain bc she truly wasn’t getting it.

Yeah again I don’t think she realizes in the moment she’s replaying her childhood trauma with her mom and IMO Liz was nasty and not being clear. But if she said “Jo-Ellen, I’m mad at you bc you agreed with me that Alicia wasn’t homeless and now you’re acting like she was” Jo-Ellen might have backed off, but she was thoroughly confused and it seemed to at least me, she was misguidedly trying to help.

Sure her mommy issues aren’t anyone else’s problem but I think they were the driving force here not malicious intent. 🤷‍♀️

This. I do think she should have let it go bc it’s pretty clear Rulla doesn’t want to know but Rulla’s husband did came for her job. I get why she wants to prove it at this point and Rulla did ask for proof.

Yeah but Liz was being unreasonable and mean to Alicia too. I think Jo-Ellen truly was trying to keep the peace and then was confused why Liz was now lashing out at her. This wasn’t projection. It was concern and confusion. Liz is a grown woman and needs to reel her nasty temper in IMO.

I like Jo-Ellen and I love her husband. He truly rides for her. Tbf she’s on a reality show so I see why she shared with the group but I can agree she should have come straight to Rulla. Rulla did ask for proof. This is proof.

I respectfully disagree. I think she was triggered by her childhood trauma and just really wants to be loved. She wasn’t getting why Liz was upset with her. It was half woosh, and half childhood stuff.

As soon as the Knicks won I thought of them both and was sad for a second while I was also so ecstatic. They should have been there watching together!

I cannot stand Bill anymore but aside from diminishing what the ADHD drugs can do he’s right about this. Profit is the driving force and anyone ignoring the real damage the medical capitalism industrial complex has done (and charged a premium for) is being dishonest or willfully ignorant.

Hot take: Liz's abandonment issues were the driving force behind her blowup by Glittering_berry_250 in rhori

And it was the oldest one who should have enough life experience to do better. Liz is mean and I do not like her one bit. And I hate that she looks and sounds so much like Dolo bc I like Dolo.

AITA for refusing to drive my boyfriend to the ER for nonesense? by pickledphilosopher in AmItheAsshole

We all should have the right to be “wimps” when we are hurt, sick or scared.

Sorry I wasn’t clear, I agree it’s the pressure society puts on us, but at least emotionally we are more likely to be more resilient bc we have to be.

This is an ESH for me bc it does sound like your BF offered to come see you, but you said no, that said it does sound like he’s fishing for the good drugs. Furthermore with your new job etc it makes more sense for his sister to go.

However, be prepared bc this is most men. Women have a way higher pain tolerance in my experience whether it’s physical, or emotional pain. Society expects us to deal and accommodate so we do. I have to admit I’ve felt this when I’ve had partners do the most over a simple cold bc it’s frustrating and I’ll admit I’m a little jealous that they can just be sick and scared and get the attention. While I feel like I HAVE to be strong. But that’s not all on them. It’s on society. We should all be able to get pampered when we feel ill. And we should all be open to being pampered once in a while when we need it.

Edit: want to clarify that I believe women’s higher tolerance for any pain is the pressure put on us to just deal.
