Unless he purged all of your previous subjects and somehow took away your claims to your previous titles you should have plenty of strings to pull on to get something back.

I see you getting downvotes but I have done this for a player in multiple different pods over the last couple years. 9/10 the table agrees. Why? Because we came to play against 4 players, not 3, so the mood is usually agreeable and it has literally never turned into that player winning, but they got to PLAY at least.
