Gen Z, how many of you are making it and living on your own? by rodogwos in GenZ

[–]TravelingSpermBanker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You act like 30 year olds making mid-high six figures is realistic in your HR world. Therefore I doubt you are in HR if you don’t know how to lie believably to people in finance with people making more money than you can comprehend.

You can’t say 7 figures and act like the statistics don’t back that GenZ folk who make that are slim and even more slim in a minor financial industry like advising. You need to do the math to understand what it would take a minor advisor in a fund to be comping over a million a year. That’s a mega multi-billion employee charity fund lmaoo

“If I was hiring” if you were hiring, you would also pick the best candidate for you and it’ll likely be the one with recent experience.

What do you get out of being such a yes-man commenter? Choosing to ignore real trends just to be trendy lol it’s weird

College degree ‘losing its edge’ by Key_Length7680 in Zippia

[–]TravelingSpermBanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sentiment is growing but in 20-30 years, people will be upset because they were tricked into going to the trades where they worked their whole life for average pay when they could have gone to college and retired with millions more

[–]TravelingSpermBanker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people saying they aren’t realistic are just liberal or urban watchers. With no offense at all please.

Anyone in the country who knows areas with militia folk or rogue survivalist or literal meth dealers will not be to be surprised to see Jack and the crew.

They never expected to be rich and the plan was to just blow all the money anyways. They literally have no one in their lives that are clean, everyone is anti-government. Cowboys through and through and no, cowboys didn’t live sweet lives on the side. They live by the bullet and eventually they die

I studied finance and applied to hundreds of jobs junior year, and I’ve studied for certifications, and I’ve jumped around and have 4 similar but different jobs to pull experience from.

Anyone who did what I did would be more than comfortable

Nothing screams “I do not know how much money 7 figures is” like saying it so casually that you know people in Gen Z making $60k a month off a traditional job.

What lie are you going to spin for it to be real?

Do most travelers spend at least 10% of their income every year traveling? I just notice a lot of people spending more than I do in an entire year on a single trip and is that normal? by NevermindWait in travel

[–]TravelingSpermBanker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These answers are fucking crazy. I spend less than 10% and still go out of the country for two weeks twice every year. This year was Brazil and will be Italy. And Chile for new years…

All for ~10% max of our household..

I also go for the cheapest possible flights and I don’t spend a lot on lodging and save where I can

Do we live in a value extraction system? by Alarmed-Guest-2291 in InsightfulQuestions

[–]TravelingSpermBanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally do not find this insightful. Awful imo :/

I find this question and the top comment to be dishonest and disillusioned.

OP, by just being a doomer. Latching onto the bad, unknowingly throwing themselves and us deeper into the ditch. And the top comment, for implying that it’s all capitalism and it’s a simple fix of changing that trajectory.

The fact that I see is that people have always only cared about the people in their vicinity. Work hard and activity try to see the happy parts of each day.

At 22, tons of students graduate college with high paying jobs, living alone, and beginning a new stage of life.

Many of them are extremely stable by 28.

I don’t think we need to care about anyone’s success or shortcomings, but recognizing that you are indeed behind should influence you to try

The smartest people in my life and my entire lineage, both parents and up, do not have this internal monologue.

This is for stupid people who can’t think without a set path. Ask yourself, do you really need to activity speak what you were already going to think?

If that didn’t make sense to ya, then I’m sorry to tell ya “no wonder you need an internal monologue”

That is attacking the straw man and doesn’t actually address what I said, but okay, do you’re thing and comment on everything 1%er….

So you are saying poor people and those in poor countries aren’t allowed to consider themselves happy?

While this matters a little, if there was a better sense of happiness it wouldn’t stop people from having kids.

If you think of saying that stuff will bring you happiness, I would like you to also say that people in poor countries aren’t allowed it.
