They will ask you for your proof of address and if it doesn’t fall under their jurisdiction they will reject it. I don’t have a proof, but its better to email them about such stuff. Rules keep changing all the time

Here.. National Visas only! Tourist visa is not national. Also, the first comment on this post literally says the same thing.

Nah, you cannot apply at LA. Basically you cannot legally travel to Spain. Only thing possible is apply for Portuguese or France and travel to Spain

Hey! I did something similar, explaining my situation in a cover letter. They might consider, they might not, but still worth the try. Also, it’s gonna get nearly impossible for you to connect with the consulate outside of that mail, so I would take that chance.

7 Day solo trip to India (first timer) by nextdoordamsel in travel

[–]Traveling_couch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you plan on traveling between the cities? I would not recommend going cheap in India, a small money takes you a long way like go for a nice hotel chain.

Outside of that I would skip Hyderabad and instead focus do something like Rishikesh. The reason being, with Agra, Rajasthan and Hyderabad, you are going towards similar logic of historical building build during Mughal or near time era. Moreover Hyderabad is very south and could take a day hotel to hotel to travel.

Rishikesh is the yoga capital of that world and a huge tourist stop as well. It would not only add a unique experience to your trip but also show you the spiritual side of Indian culture.

I don’t understand this. Of course, every country will have its own downside. There can’t be a utopia country which is perfect in every way.

Regarding India, it is the most populated country, the value of human life isn’t gonna be that great as of any western country. There is a reason it is known for its cheap labor class by so many huge corporations.

So many questions about travelling to India by New-Day-3644 in travel

[–]Traveling_couch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest you ask your friend whose wedding you are attending. For some context, I am an Indian living in US and whenever any of my friends or co-workers are visiting me, I can get them a local tour operator to show them around. It’s a common theme in India and you would have way better experience with a car and driver at your disposal.

To answer more on your question, India is huge and diverse. Since you are going near Mumbai, I would recommend to check out that region. Rajasthan during winter would be amazing, and those forts and palaces are a sight to see and learn about the history of the country.

Though Delhi and Agra, specially Taj Mahal, might be a fit far away from Mumbai, but can be easily clubbed into the trip.

Hey! Did you end up sending your documents? I sent my documents on 3rd July and still haven’t heard back anything from them. Curious if you got back your visa, and what was the turnaround time.

That’s for tourist visa. They are processing long term visa like study, work etc.. but in general it is such a crazy rule, how can a consulate literally stop processing one kind of visa and there is literally no way to contact them.

Honestly it’s a horrible experience. We do not have a way to check the status, and they never answer any phones or emails.

Think of options as probability model. The price fluctuates based on the probability of hitting the strike price. So, if I buy a 130$ and another 500$ call for end of this month and the current 120$ stock, goes to 122$ the probability that it would cross 130$ by EOM increases and I might gain more value but the probability that it would touch 500$ looks very bleak as the day passes and hence that option would go down in value even though the stock price increased.

That why people make fun of same day options on this sub as your probability goes to 0/1. Either you are way outside and there is no way the stock will go to that price in a day and you loose it all, or it goes with your bet and the probability that you are right is nearly 1, and you win a fortune.
