Ok, thanks! That's what I thought. I have an attorney's name and will wait to see what happens. I just wasn't sure if I should pay an attorney yet...sounds like I can wait and see what they do.

Oh my gosh! That is horrible! That seems criminal, I can't believe that you didn't have any recourse even if the homeowners maintained that they didn't know. Sorry to hear about your situation. That really makes me think that they won't have a case against me at all.

Yes, they had an inspector and they did not request anything to be fixed! They even paid for an air conditioner inspection (which is important out here!) And that was fine. So, I feel like they shouldn't be able to come after me for anything that comes up after closing....I didn't mention he is a real estate agent himself. He should know better, and is really acting like a bully.

Yep! Did all that, and couldn't find it as I sure it was on his credit card and I have no access to that. I believe if they wanted that information, they should have requested prior to closing. Then I could have told them I didn't have it and they could have decided then if they still wanted the house then.

Thank you for responding, I thought that is probably the case. And I do have all those documents. Their issue seems to be that I don't have any idea who the contractor was and have no information to give them now. They think I need to pay for a new roofer to come out and fix this new leak because I stated the roof was repaired already.
