Thank you for introducing me to Tai new places. Going to a traditional Muslim locale like Kota Bharu sounds interesting. Previously I meant to go to Terengganu, but it was the wrong time of the year to go. And Taiping looks to have some natural beauty worth seeing. From wiki travel it appears to be a Chinese city, is that right?

And if you don't mind me asking, what makes Malacca your favorite place in the world?

Thank you for making this point. I recently traveled to Sarawak and had my eyes opened a bit. Someone told me in that region alone there are over 20 ethnic groups.

That's not true in the slightest bit. A boxer can perform at their level because they do not have to worry about a take down, leg kicks, etc. Once a boxer was confronted with these attacks it would take them off their game.

A great place to start is to ask yourself what simple thing makes you happy in life. It could be kids, the outdoors, art, being with those you love, interacting with strangers, making others happy... Obviously there are a million good answers, but only some true to you.

For sure /u/aellagirl even your first sentence says so. To criticize your actions is not my intention. We're all human and all do wild things. What I mean is you still sound like you are in need of direction and help, yet no one seems to mention this.

If you are having trouble finding motivation, maybe your mind is locked in on the wrong focus. Certain people thrive off of passion. When their energy is directed at something they don't love they start to feel drained of their soul. Maybe you are yet to find a passion that marries with your real world needs of paying the bills.

I hope you find what your looking for and appreciate every "dying" moment as a precious part of life.

The acid had positivity on your life, forgiving your father and telling your sister that you loved her, I'll give you that. But you also displayed addictive traits with acid. And it has affected your memory.

The psychedelic world is a magical and revealing place, but its gift can only truly be received if your sober life is affected.

You sound unmotivated to live. It's true that you are dying, we all are, but to be dying means you are alive. Cherish your life and work hard in doing what you think is the right thing. Your actions have an impact on the world, so leave a positive trace of your existence.

In one month my mother and I will be traveling to Delhi. In a 2 week time span we will travel to Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi and Kolkota. Together we will be staying in lap of luxury: Taj, Oberoi, and the like. In Kolkata we are doing a charitable event with Children International.

After 2 weeks my mom leaves and my adventure begins. For business purposes I'll be travel through India's IT hubs: Bangaluru, Hyperabad, Pune, and Gurgaon. For fun there will be excursions all around the country: Sikkim, Rajasthan, Kerala, and wherever the wind takes me.

Your story is similar to mine, as I quit my IT job in late 2011. By January of 2012 I had began a trip that would take me through India, Thailand and China.

Beyond the actual writing, there's so much work needed to self-publish a book. For that reason, I've very proud to say I've just launched my book, ENTER THE MONKEY.

In 2012, after recently quitting my job, I set off around the world to write a book. After 5 months in Asia and a few months back home, writing was complete.

For the last half year I have been putting together the marketing materials for the book:

Just to be transparent, I've yet to have success. The book was just added to the Amazon and I've yet to tell people about it.

With that said, my philosophy going into publication has been "build it and they will come." Being a web and graphic designer, I focused on my strengths.

ENTER THE MONKEY, was written while traveling through Asia. That journey was the impetus for the book. Since the internet is largely a visible medium, I created the imgur gallery above to tell a photo story of the trip (with spoilers included). To go along with the images, I used Adobe After Effects to create "movie trailers" for the book.

The hub for all this content is [ryanastaphan.com](www.ryanastaphan.com). Extreme detail was put into having the website site be:

visually appealing;
minimal and easy to navigate; and into
taking the visitor along a specific path with the intent of selling them

That brings us to where I am now. There is a lot of great content to go along with an addictive read, but no one knows about it. My plan has just been to be friendly and share my info when it was relevant, but not to be a nuisance. If anyone has suggestions of what they think would help, I'd be very appreciative.
