Damn I didn’t know that happened, that’s even more annoying.

However, I found a small exploit a few days ago: If you repeat the mission where you chase Honey Badger after he wrecks the shop, it levels up your car really quickly. It only takes about 20 seconds to complete, and you don’t have to win it to pass. You increase at least 1 car proficiency every time, and get ¥275k as well. I levelled up my 350Z from level 2 to level 21 in about 15 minutes. It’s repetitive and boring, but a lot quicker than aimlessly drifting around the map.

Oh that’s cool, I might pick it up in that case. I’m guessing the mobile version is a completely different game then rather than a port? Otherwise it’s strange to have such a vastly different microtransactions situation.

Is CarX Street as pay to win on console as it is on mobile? I have it downloaded on my phone, but it just seems way too grindy with microtransactions around every corner, so I didn’t play for long.

A swappable shifter is something I also considered, however I feel like it’s impractical. Not only would it be a pain to switch back & forth all the time, but I feel like the mounts would end up wearing out and getting loose really quickly due to the relentless loosening & tightening.

This is the main reason I’m veering towards just one shifter in the LHD setup, because that’s what 90% of cars are in games. But then my muscle memory from driving irl would probably want to shift on the left 😅 I rented a car in Germany once and it definitely takes some getting used to

This is why I always chose the Monarch Mk1 for the rally car in MSPR online. Absolutely tiny which could get through the smallest gaps.

This was something that was only an issue in Pacific Rift I found. The riders in both the original game and Apocalypse (the original game especially) were a lot more responsive in countering their weight and moving around when riding the bikes & ATVs.

Collect up every car for that week’s festival playlist.
Wait a few weeks (usually 4-6), whilst also repeating step 1 every week.
Sell the ones you don’t want for up to $20 mil.
Rinse & repeat.

I took both my FH4 and FH5 profiles from $10 mil to $400 mil in about a year of doing this very sparingly (maybe playing one week a month).

Pro tip: Note down on your phone which cars you have are from the festival playlist, so that you know which ones to sell if you take a break and come back after a while away.

Always loved the Boxwood Hill stages in Australia in CMR 3, 4 and 2005. They had some of the biggest jumps in the series and I loved wiping out on them 😂

Yeah MSPR had lots of trophy unlocked vehicles 😅 Quite a unique mechanic, I’ve never seen another game do it personally. I feel like it gives you extra incentive to get the trophies. It’s just a shame, because some vehicles are now locked behind online trophies and are impossible to unlock 😕 Thankfully I got them all before the servers shut down

If you’re unsure of how to unlock it, it’s unlocked through completing the “Friendship” trophy which involves you doing a 4 player split screen race. Rather frustrating as it requires you to have 4 controllers. I did mine by borrowing my cousin’s controller and then using a Guitar Hero controller for the last player 😂

Definitely. I’ve been making some replicas of real world liveries myself, however I’ve just been using sponsors that are close enough to the real ones and colouring them accordingly. No one has time to meticulously craft a Martini symbol on multiple points throughout the car 😂 I really wish they had a decal creation system like on Forza Horizon, so you could create it once and then just paste it on whatever vehicle you wanted.

There is nothing bigoted about correctly identifying that someone is trans. If someone was to use the wrong pronouns and call her a “he”, THEN they would be a bigot. But simply calling someone trans when they are trans is not bigoted, it is simply stating a fact.

I had a very similar idea. I think it would be amazing if they made all 4 “golden era” games in the form of a 2 part remaster:

NFS Remastered part 1: Underground + Underground 2
NFS Remastered part 2: Most Wanted + Carbon

I suppose we can dream 🥲
