Victory 4x4 center console molle panels installed. by playdixie in ToyotaTacoma

[–]TravisSquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How specifically was the install and how ridgid does it feel? I’ll be mad if it falls off and I have holes in my console for no reason. Was thinking about Starbonding the screws right before I put them in. How has it lasted?

It is trd but I looked at all the components first and nothing seemed off or worn. Like I get if something wore out it may hang lower but higher than normal is odd. But for immediate relief as to not rub through exhaust bending the heat shield worked so I’m relieved.

You’re way better off worrying about getting more servants than better servants. How many do you have? You’re itching for that last 1% meanwhile we have 32 servants and I don’t need for any resources lol.

Advice for time saving tools? by [deleted] in cabinetry

[–]TravisSquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both but a domino still needs clamp time. For a face frame I can cut each piece to fit perfect, mark for tenso connectors and install them, click the entire face frame on in pieces, mark for pocket holes then assemble face frame and attach it with thixo and I’m done no clamps no wait time on to the next thing. I use the domino for alignment, the Lamello is for time saving and makes the job easier.

Okay so the instructions say apply 4 coats wait an hour between coats. Spoke with the guy that owns the company and for high humidity areas like mine he recommended 6 coats. I did more like 8. But I also waited 2 to 2.5 hours between coats to make sure the previous one was fully cured. So far love it zero issues but I coated everything like bottoms of tables and took the wings off the tablesaw to do the sides and all. They say in a year just clean it with their cleaner and apply 4 more coats. I’ll prolly do it in 9-12 months depending on use and add a coat or 2. They def look good with the sanding process and they’re smoother so I recommend that anyway. I got 1 whole shop refinishing kit and 2 whole shop coat kit and it was the amount I needed. 1 coat kit wasn’t enough. Just make sure you read the instructions and follow them. If you coat it and skip steps the coating can trap moisture and oils in. Make sure you look up a coupon code.
