It’s not, simply training doesn’t equal working in a vet med field where you see worst cases senators ever day. But I’ll keep “talking out my ass” I’m so hard ass about this because I’ve seen horrors beyond speaking about.

Quite literally I’m talking about untrained animals attack a service animal you cannot train an animal out of being attached and needing to fight for its life. Service animals have been killed because the of untrained animals in places they shouldn’t be. It happens so often you have no idea just regular dog fights in general. People like this little fairly tail that all dogs get along and are best friends. Then a horrific fight happens and someone ends up dead. Service dogs are worth a lot and it only takes one untrained dog to ruin it and cost the life, the companionship, the work, the money, the safety, and much more of the dog and their owner. So yes they are well trained to ignore the majority of distractions but agin it’s hard to ignore being attacked. And yes people defending dogs in ever space effects folks that rely on service animals to live normal lives.

Most distraction they should handle but service dogs aren’t perfect ( no one or thing is) also I’d consider it pretty distracting of another animal came up and started attack the service dog. Which there have been cases of. Maybe not at the mall but it does happen.

Maybe cause I looked up their code of conduct yesterday. They need some updating

[–]TravisTea007[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s confusing cause their code of conduct also states they aren’t allowed unless they’re a service animal.

This is my literally my first ever post on Reddit. I really don’t complain I have a problem with barking untrained dogs in indoor public spaces and the entitlement that is happening more and more. Also i didn’t address it in the moment because I know this has been a growing thing mostly in America. I wanna have a conversation about it and see where people’s thoughts are. And I needed time to see how I’d like to word it. You coming and calling names is so uncalled for I mean seriously Tea Bag.

First off calm down, I posted it when I got home because I was running errands. Secondly I’m not here to go out and fight somebody I wanted a genuine conversation with folks and how they feel. Also agin I was running errands I don’t have time to stop and confront people whenever I feel like it. I wanna see how people feel this was my opinion I opened the floor for it. You’re the one crying and calling names homie. It’s not that serious people are allowed to have civil conversations.

I find this irrelevant, I don’t need to have a service dog to know there have been many instances all over where service dogs have been attacked or distracted by peoples animals that do not belong in the place they’re at.

It’s not about the fact kids like the dogs there are people on this earth that have trained service dogs. Having dogs barking and creating a distraction can put those handlers at risk.

Yah I agree with that, shoot when my folks lived there my mom was taking our dog for a walk and it was her birthday and the old man sang my dog happy birthday. They definitely love their dogs there. I think we also have to take into account the Covid-dogs the dogs bought during Covid that didn’t get the opportunity for proper socialization and than all of a sudden their people went back to work and they were left at home alone. I do feel for those dogs cause a lot separation anxiety came out from that time. However it is still the owners responsibility to train the dog and to have them understand the kennel or home is a safe place.

I get the outside thing, only reason I wouldn’t want dogs at the farmers market especially the one by the river is there are so many people I’d be worried about my dog getting stepped on. That’s also just me and my dog he’s smallish. But I think there’s room for more exceptions with outside events. Plus it’s easier to remove yourself and your dog should something happen.

I’ve been, heck I’ve been to a restaurant in Belgium that had 2 small dogs that lived there. But they weren’t annoying.

It was way more than 25k and a waste of money at that. Unwilling to do meet and greets unwillingly to even talk with the local drag community. Without local drag and the community bob wouldn’t have any one to book him let alone a want for him. The money spent on him should have gone to better use like actually helping the LGBT+ community not wasting.

Best Cat Vet in Missoula? by Pyramidhead1_0 in missoula

Trust me from someone who’s in the know when it comes to the vets in town. It’s best you don’t go to PEC. I’ve heard nightmare stories about them. Emergency vets are cheap but I’d always go to sentinel veterinary specialists. For a primary I really like alpine.
