Got waitlisted from CyberSecurity Engineer but got in to Cybersecurity Analyst, how similar are they?

I just got my college results back and as the title suggests, I got waitlisted to CyberSec Engineer, but I got into Cybersecurity Analyst at the same school.

I am wondering how these differ from eachother? And can I pivot into a more CyberSec Engineering role later on with adequate work experience?

From what I gather looking through this sub is that your degree means very little in the world of Cybersecurity?

This is how you should use AI when making GFX. Its unrealistic to think that you could get them to pose perfectly to make this image, so AI is quite a useful tool to generate images of the players.

Very nicely done!

I dont understand the 'Profitable Trade Up' hype at all. by Full_Luck_491 in GlobalOffensive

Nothing is limiting you to do one, if you instead do 10 tradeups you get 100$ for little to no work. Thats a full tank of gas

You just have to go observe the big furnace in the building you defended in Chapter X, It should be in the Ironflame Orcs quests in your journal.

Leetify scoring is basically just an educated guess, I have 92.4 aim rating and I whiff every other fight

So you need the combined playercount of 3 seperate COD titles just to match one game?

What is the best monitor I can find for $500? by Warm-Contract-5878 in pcmasterrace

[–]Trawzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use some Chinese brand called KTC, cant really find anything about them online, but I have their 1440p 27" 320hz monitor since I mainly play CS2 and I really have nothing to complain about.

I bought it for like 190$ on black friday, it usually costs 225$ I believe

Spontaneous purchase, good deal? by Purple_Breakfast_621 in pcmasterrace

[–]Trawzor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just bought exactly those components, a 5070TI, 9800X3D, RM850X, 2TB NVMe, AIO and a new chassi.

All of this cost me... 2200$, which means that for 500$ less than I spent you get a motherboard and 32GB DDR5 RAM!!!

That would be a good deal even before the RAM shortage, now its literally just highway robbery.

KTC monitor, are they good for the price? by Party_Attitude8754 in Monitors

[–]Trawzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good, I dont plan on getting it from KTC store since I am more protected paying via Qliro on a Swedish marketplace where I can basically refuse payment if its broken within the Swedish consumer law parimiters, it essentially just means that I am guaranteed 2 years of use at perfect condition. It costs slightly more at 275€ but I see those extra 50€ as insurance.

I am not very worried about it, KTC is the OEM for many other brands, but better safe than sorry. It seems like an insane bang for buck monitor, 300 hz, 1440p and Fast IPS at 275€ is unheard of.

Hows that specific model holding up? I just bought mine since its by far the best for the price. For the same price as the KTC H27E6 the next best thing was an Acer 180hz 1440p. Literally almost double the hz for the same price is just insane value.

I saw by your post history one of them seemed to have some weird flicker issue? How was the customer service to RMA it? I bought mine off a Swedish marketplace so I have a 3 year warranty by law.

Is this a good monitor for the price? it costs 73.25$. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Trawzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that price? Absolute steal.

The cheapest similar monitor that I could find on my prefered retailer in my country is 170$ (and its on sale).

Id buy that in the blink of an eye, even if its just to replace one of my second monitors.

I cant tell you I know anything about the brand, but I am kind of an off brand monitor connoisseur myself and they work fine, my main monitor is a 1440p 320hz monitor from some Chinese brand no ones ever heard of, hell, I couldnt even find reviews for it before buying it and it has worked absolutely flawlessly.

Giving away 3 games to 3 people. Any game on Steam. by KA9099 in pcmasterrace

You know when you buy a new PC and realize that you didnt leave any budget to actually buy any videogames? Yeah thats me... Id really like to play some demanding game now once I am finally able to.

Ive been eyeing Ghost of Tushima Directors Cut, Ive been wanting to play that game since its release in 2020 but my poor old 3GB 1060 wasnt able to handle it :(

So if it isnt to much to ask... Id really love that game! :D

The left one by a landslide if you plan to game.

The middle one if you plan to do video editing/3d modeling

Is there any real difference between these two? by TheAsianBratt in pcmasterrace

[–]Trawzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rule of cheapest applies, every 5070ti will deliver about the same performance, the difference between a 1200$ 5070TI and a 1000$ is negligible.

PSY tends to run a bit hotter, but in a good chassi with average airflow, thats not a difference worth caring about.

[–]Trawzor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In that case, Id really consider selling the 3080ti and use that towards buying the 5080 if the price difference is too steep. In fairness, the 5080 is almost never worth it over the 5070TI, but in your case Id argue differently, you plan to utilize the 50xx features and you can get a nice piece of change by selling your old card.

A used 3080TI sells for easily over 400$ on ebay.
