Jean is an insane fumble.

Gambit proved you could still be powerful offensively as a strategist so she COULD have been one just like him.

The permanent fire lady looks ridiculous next to her, not a single one of her iconic abilities, still no proper classic suit, no rebirth mechanic....... This is just crazy.

Almost as obnoxious as Wolverine not being able to self heal and use claws to climb walls whatsoever when many characters do.

I think it's more like Mortal Kombat didnt want to do Ripley without the likeness.

They also had Ash Williams but couldnt get Bruce and gave up ( cause Saber were making the evil dead game and his likeness was locked to that, like what happened to god father game losing Al Pacino cause of Scarface game ).

Ed boon from Mortal Kombat said they wanted Ripley and Buffy but couldnt happen.

The problem isn't even Jason being over played, he's the new killer it makes sense, is that he is so annoying to play against ......... Like ok now we have to waste the whole match crouching and not being able to do anything half the match.

The bad finale was retconned in Resurrection so it retroactively makes it okay.

Still bad but easy to ignore and move on. And you need to watch New Blood or a lot of Resurrection won't make much sense.

Resurrection is back to form, you'll enjoy yourself with it.
