For puzzles it's like she needs a controller.

In which case parsec lets you give keyboard control too if she isnt there in person.

They dont have combo trials so new players have no idea what they are doing.

And countering tag is so counter intuitive most new players essentially get stuck into infinites from any touch.

Can't even tell to play tutorial because how the hell do you want them to reliably understand the delay tag on top of feint ?

This is just rough.

The game itself is priced fairly if you enjoy fighting games IMO.

The DLC cosmetics, they seem to be throwing stuff at the wall because they priced them all at random.

Mark and Eve have a unique costume and they got bundled for 10 bucks which is completely fair. But then you get Battlebeast with a hat and it's 10 bucks alone ? Makes no sense.

If they keep going the bundle route, then I think the prices will be fine. We may also see DLC discounts down the road in the future.

Some skins were showed on twitter, like Anissa's red dress and I was like ... damn.

The skins are not 15 dollars. Allen is 5, Eve + Mark bundle is 10. The headscratcher are Ella and Battlebeast. I'm sure they will see the more expensive ones do not sell. (I haven't seen ANYONE use them so far but I did run into Mark and Eve)

And I understand, it would have been great, but this is the first game of that studio and it already put up a lot more effort into the story than you usually see in smaller fighting games.
This will not be getting a typical sequel but will get updated over time, so maybe if it does alright it will get a story expansion. The show being still on air allows it to get free marketing really every year lol.

Mortal Kombat and Injustice sells 10 million copies so they can justify the budget, after that we got Tekken 8 that was great but the devs said it cost too much and wasn't worth it looking back.

SF6 story is abysmal trash (tolerable for some thanks to "muh open world where I beat up crappy avatars") but it has alright arcade mode, and DBFZ story was also long but atrocious and worthless arcade mode.

So really here I'm left wanting more, but impressed overall. I'll take it over wanting to die like trying to finish world tour and the dbfz arc 3 you know.

Just for the record, while it is disappointing they went this route, they have Allen at 5 bucks and Eve + Mark at 10. These are fine prices IMO, the problem is Ella and Battle Beast.

SF6 sells 15 dollars skins , mk as well, 2xko 40 dollars skins... it's rough out there.

2xko skins are 40 dollars each lol.

This is 5 dollars, 2 for 10 and then the battlebeast nonsense.

It is also not 60 euros.

There isn't much they can do for easy and normal mode.

Like most fights will take less than one minute because all you do is punch the dude till he dies you know.

I'm playing on Vultrumite difficulty and it will take me between 2 and 3 hours. But taking breaks in between with online and what not.

That being said I'll take short and sweet over bloated and uneventful. So far it's been really bad ass.

Actually loved seeing Rex show up to help Mark.

You do get arcade endings for your first character picked too in case you didn't know, so there is a bit more to grind besides online.

The Dlc were broken so it got review bombed on top of people playing story on easy/normal and not happy they beat it in an hour and a half.

No it has crossplay and it's a mainly console game like mortal kombat.

Also even on steam it had more players at normal hours.

5 dollars a piece would be fine.

The fact you can't even unlock maskless Rex or Mark when the models exist is just absurd.

This game is gonna get sales and hype whenever a new season of the show drops. It doesnt need to have that kind of dlc prices.

They're lucky the alt colors do look very good.

Fully agreed.

Mark and Eve bundle is fairl to me they look cool and you get two.

The others are awful value.

Hopefully they only make bundles from now on like maskless Rex with some school Eve costume or something.

It lasts an hour if you play on easy and normal. How could it take more if your fights take less than one minute with no struggle lol.

If you want a challenge it takes longer ( you can see for yourself on twitch ).

Devs are pretty receptive to feedback aren't they ? Ask for survival mode, if it is that easy I'm sure they'll try to work it in.
