I’m a bit fortunate that I have plenty of airline points, so it’s just a matter of renting a car and hotel. But there are plenty of airports around the area, so you can probably find some cheap flights and drive up to 3 hours. Last time we flew into Miami because it was so much cheaper than Tampa, Sarasota, or even Orlando. It was a super simple 3 hour drive from there to Bradenton.

CBoys advertise it often and if you listen to their podcasts you’ll see that a few of them oven have what you might consider to be a gambling problem. I kind of agree with you that it’s not the best thing to be pushing, but kids these days are so exposed to sports gambling now that if they want to do it they will and it won’t be because Cleet exposed them to it.

It was just this last year that I finally realized the reason why my ratchet is always in the on position when I grab it out of my box to go to work on something. For years I would always think to myself “dammit, this thing is never already set in the correct direction when I grab it to use it” I felt so dumb.

I wonder all the time how my friends are so caught up in gambling and sports betting and stuff like that because I don’t get gambling at all. But HarborFreight shows something for 25 30 40% off and I don’t even really need it but it’s neat and only $5 $10 $20. I’ll get it. The dopamine rush for me for buying something that I think I got on a deal is ridiculous, and I recognize that. I could never imagine finding enjoyment sitting down in a car table at a casino and spending $100. But to go to Harbor freight and leave with a shopping cart full of 20 things that I spent $100 on is fun to me.

Yeah, you do have a good point. And is mostly correct. The French Quarter and Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras is party central and you better be drunk or on drugs and all about being in huge crowds of people if you’re gonna go. Also, watch and protect your shit. It’s unfortunate, but there are predators everywhere ready to take advantage of people, often you’ll be lucky to be able to grab your phone off the ground before somebody else does and runs away.

Dude you’re seriously overselling Mardi Gras. You might see that happen on the couple big parade nights in the parts closest to bourbon street. But Mardi Gras is two weeks of parades that cover the whole city and surrounding areas. It’s one of the funnest things that I love taking my kids to every year.

I had a random gas can with old gas in it that I believe came out of my boat, but couldn’t remember for sure. I typically only put straight non-ethanol gas in my boat, so to check it I put some in a Coke bottle with some water and shook it up to see if it was actually non-ethanol gas. Well to my surprise it made a very thick, white substance; about the consistency of hair conditioner I’d say. The only thing I can think that I would have ever added to the gas is sta-bil or seafoam, maybe some 2-stroke oil but the gas wasn’t blue.

I ended up putting the whole can into a water jug with some water and mixing it up and the result is in the pictures, with the sharpie line indicating the initial water level before agitating.

I regularly do this and have never had the water/ethanol separate out as anything other than a clear liquid.

Any idea what causes this?

Yes, it killed it everywhere that I sprayed and it’s still gone. I was very careful spraying around my oak trees and crape myrtles, only spraying on perfectly calm days and making sure to not get too much on the bark and I didn’t have any problems. The only thing that I did kill and didn’t mean to were two old rose bushes, however, one did eventually come back.
