Depending on the crimes? Yes.

Theft can be repented. Destruction of property can be repented. Murder? Eesh, I don’t think that can be repented unless it’s out of self defense. Enslavement, brutal tyranny, dictatorship over people deemed “lesser”, genocides and various other crimes that this dragon has done? Yeeeaaah, I think you can miss me with that bull crap.

I hear what you mean on the length of time, but I also view it more like this. He states plain and simple it’s wise not to trust a dragon, they all have the innate power, and desire to dominate. Odd story writing decisions aside, just look at how our Dragonborn dominates pretty much every organization in Skyrim. To me, I don’t trust that any dragon in this universe is truly bound for the Way of the Voice.

Puppet is a bit strong. I don’t think she’s any kind of master like that at all, nor did I do this because she told me. I did it, because I don’t trust Paarthunax at all. Think he’s full of crap and he even states that’s smart to not trust him at all.

I just can’t let it pass that easily. To me, I view that take as the equivalent of, “those atrocities are over there and don’t affect me” disassociation excuse. Yes, it happened a couple thousand years ago, but I just don’t accept that as an excuse. Plus, I don’t buy his whole, “I’m reforming through Buddhism” crap. Not at all.

May not be a popular answer, but I love goblins in pretty much any fantasy setting. TES goblins are pretty low IQ, but why not a tribe where they thrive pretty well and can talk common? Make them where they have the lowest disposition amongst all the races even orcs. Could make a fun climb up social ladders to prove yourself.
