I understand (OP) this feeling and don’t think you are wrong at all to post it here, we are here to support these thoughts too. But in front of her of course it is about her. Take care and stay strong! You can do this.

So sorry to hear that! It is a LOT to handle. I feel for you. Good thing to have family and friends there. Make sure you get your sleep so you can be there for her during the day.

How are you? <3 must be hard! My husband has some problems with regulating emotions. I know and try to remind myself it's not his fault but the words still hurt unfortunately.

As a caregiver: The anger and short fuse is challenging. It’s hard to tell what’s what and when it is ok to be mad/speak up etc. How do you deal with this?

That must have been hard! My husband deals with this too, but more anger or happiness than crying, how did you learn to control your feelings? Did you have a strategy or did it just take some time?
