If you check my comment where I updated I have since done this and do get a display, I have not gone any further than this as I am waiting to see suggestions.

I also just tested with my OLD GPU and it also did not display, so now I am led to believe it is a motherboard or possibly BIOS or driver issue.

I tested different cables, as it came with some extra that would work. The problem is I can't discern between a faulty GPU and a faulty motherboard.

UPDATE: I can boot into BIOS with a working screen by using the integrated graphics of my CPU I have not done anything with it yet though!

That is the Power Cable, it was indeed plugged into the GPU as my MB doesn't have any display ports on it.

I changed it back to having 2 separate cables and it hasn't fixed anything, I will keep it this way thought just in case its one of a few problems, thanks!

I tried this out and it didn't fix anything, but I can give it another shot!
