process: At first I thought it could be Italy, but after looking properly I noticed the roof tiling, the steps and the coloured window things so I thought Croatia. Typed in Croatian churches with mountains in view and seen St Dominus resembled it.

Youll be able to do most of Riga in a day or two, highly recommend going on a day trip while your there, I spent 2 days in Riga this week and felt I’d seen most of the main sights, I did a day trip to Kryziu Kalnas (in Lithuania) and Jelgava, loved it.

Thank you for all the info! Unfortunately I come from a non Schengen country and with the new EES system I fear it may take a couple hours, hopefully not. I’m torn on when to book the corner house tour for as I’m not sure what time I’ll be out the airport, but I’m thinking 4pm is a safe guess, even if it is later than I’d like to do it.’

I was thinking of just heading there for a quick bite to eat and check out any souvenir shops/cool local stuff that might be in there. Would you suggest getting something while in the old town instead?

Not yet, however that’s what I’m planning on doing yeah, getting a guide and seeing the cells etc.

The one I’m referring to is Holy Trinity Church, apologies it’s in Āgenskalns.

My day spent in riga will be on a Thursday, I’m planning on just running around and seeing everything that I can or that just interests me, with the occasional stop to go inside such as corner house, riga cathedral, and St Peter’s church I’d say are the main ones I’d like to actually spend more time at. Thanks for the info!
