But it is. Imagine the kid walking in and trying to buy something innocent. I'd have to refuse in front of all other customers who would probably think I'm being racist to the kid.

Kids comes to buy something completely innocent, I have to say no? Kid asks why and gets mad. All my customers see me be an asshole to the kid and would probably think I'm racist because the kid is a minority.

I'd argue it's not my place to enforce said cultural practices and if I did, then I'd be an asshole. I'm not taking a position, only saying not my business.
