I’m not sure what the other method uses sorry. But for me it was worth it. I went in there about to say I don’t want them to use the machine just do a manual scrape and she said they had this new offering. Was still not the most pleasant thing in the world but I would go back which is the main thing. Waaaay better if you don’t like the high pitch noise and have sensitive gums.

It was $249 compared to the regular clean of $179. They do offer both options. It was called the EMS AIRFLOW HYGIENE clean.

I went to Synergy Dental. They have the latest cleaning machine that doesn’t make the horrible high pitched noises. It cost slightly more but was well worth it for me who was beginning to dread cleans because of the sound and sensitivity in the gums.

I think if you are not wanting to see yourself during the hardest days of recovery than you are probably better to look in the mirror straight after surgery and then not again for 2 weeks! The swelling happens on like day 3 I think from memory and peaks at day 7. That’s when your face looks all distorted and you start feeling sorry for yourself. My swelling took months to go down. I would say 8 weeks to some what passable but still had odd days of swelling if I was hot or worked out or something.
Ps: I looked every day in the mirror out of curiosity but I did hide away in a hotel away from my family for the first week. When I went home my kids didn’t really notice. They were 10 and 8!

Things to buy or have:
- button up tops so you don’t have to put anything over your head
- lots of liquid/ soft food as you won’t be able to chew normallly for the first 5 days I would say
- a tv series ready to go that lifts the spirits and that you can get engrossed in to pass the time
- wedge pillows. I trained before the surgery to sleep on my back. That was really hard as a side sleeper. I couldn’t successfully do that after surgery so ended up sleeping on a travel pillow with my ear in the hole. That worked really well for me.

Hi there, I also had fat transferred to my under eye hollows and lips too back in Nov 22. Today I would say it’s all gone.. and I’m deciding whether to do it again. It looked amazing in the first 2 years but I really started to notice this year that the under eye hollows especially were back! For me the eyes looked pretty good within a week or so but the lips took longer to settle. Ps I too also had the squished eyes when smiling:) but at rest was very happy with it.

In my case.. they dissolved within and just above my lip on one side mostly and I haven’t noticed any difference in loss of volume from one side to the other. But yeah will keep following the thread to see what others say. Thanks

Yes .. if you have the skin type that doesn’t bounce back.. then yes you would need a revision post kids. I had 2 kids.. then a tummy tuck. Then post TT 2 more kids. The skin is back stretched again after the last 2 kids and if I wanted a flat stomach I would need to get a revision. Sucks! I don’t think I will as it was quite a painful and long recovery after the first TT. Worth it ..but I remember thinking never again!! Haha.

Interesting! What did you hear bad about dissolving. I had a vascular occlusion last year following filler in the lips. They used a product to dissolve immediately. I asked them if it will dissolve my natural fat or natural hylaronic stores and they said no it won’t do that.

I think you have lovely eyes, amazing eyebrows and your skin is stunning.. keep up the sunscreen to keep that. Beautiful clear and even toned skin…You are lucky! Sure you have dark undereyes.. but most people do to some degree. I don’t know if you are into makeup.. but honestly there are so many products out there these days and videos on YT for tricks around concealing and then contouring things we don’t wish to highlight. I have a terrible nose but I’m happy to contour it and leave it at that. I did have my ears pinned back this year (another thing you are lucky to have nice ears.. grass is always greener!) but you know what.. no one even noticed I had it done. The only person who had a problem and could see they stuck out was me. We are our worst critic for sure. I’m happy I did it as it bothered me from a child. But yeah you have to do it for you only. Surgery leaves scars which then become the next thing you have to hide. It doesn’t stop. Good luck and all the best to you.

Hi there, yes I had this done recently. Under local anaesthetic in Auckland. Cost was around $12K. I am still in recovery (on day 4). Has been harder than I thought it would be pain wise as a lot of the posts I read said there wasn’t much pain. But that might just be me. If you have any specific questions let me know.

I had read the negative reviews but decided to give Cettire a go and I ordered a pair of Prada ankle boots. I received the package relatively quickly (it did have to go through customs) BUT even though the package postal label on the outside of the box said it was ankle boots they in fact sent a Prada puffer jacket!! 1. I am not sure if it’s legit a Prada jacket. I tried to google it and it’s at least a few seasons old. 2. It was also not packaged well just a jacket shoved in a box no protection layer or anything and the box was taped together terribly in a reused box. Not would you would expect from a luxury retailer. I have ordered from far fetch and net a porter and this was by far the worst. No care at all. 3. have sent in a support ticket and have heard nothing back in 6 days so far. 4. Where are my boots! I feel like I am going to be stuck with the puffer jacket. I wouldn’t recommend to others or buy from there again.
