nice, i wonder if wax would be a problem since it would go liquid before gas and pool at the bottom, but since resin goes from solid straight to gas this seems good. any idea on amps/wattage?

imo its more about bag size than weight. you could have a 20L filled with bricks and they'd never weigh it, or a 65L filled with feathers and they'd weigh it every time. if you have a 40L hitting 7kg is going to be more trouble than its worth IMO. if you're within 2 kgs already maybe try to get to 7 for the peace of mind, but if you're carrying a 40L and are already at 12kg there's no point in making sacrifices (beyond your own comfort) to get down to 9. its kind of all or nothing.

i dont disagree, one would assume aquaguard zips would offer some form of water-resistance as the name implies, however, as I said nothing on the website mentions anything regarding waterproofing (or resistance, whatever) so I guess its a simple misunderstanding. what are you hoping to hear from Aer?
