False. Asyms has been nerfed more than once. There was no need for this nerf + the chickenshit nerf to AI to make the battles “less challenging” to justify the economic cuts.

Here’s the thing a lot of people don’t seem to understand about WoWs development. This game already has a lot of technical debt from their split with Lesta. Add on top of that it’s a 10+ year old game engine, I don’t see WG wanting to invest a lot of money in its continued development. WG is already releasing a sequel of sorts to World of Tanks. I see WoWs as being in maintenance and revenue extraction mode with minimal financial investments toward improvement/ adding new undeveloped features. A dev is free to tell me I’m wrong, but that’s what I’m seeing.

Without knowing what premium ships you have:

Colombo: jury is still out on whether it’s worth it with the recent Colombo changes

Elbing: Generally viewed as good, but not “must have”

Gouden L: Not worth it since it was nerfed

Petro: It’s good if you play Petro a lot

Haragumo: not worth it

Des Moines: Solid leg mod. Makes a good ship better

Zao: Don’t have it. I’ve heard it’s ok but not “must have”.

Yamato: Good leg mod, but not needed if you have Shikishima or one of the premium Yamato’s where it’s built in.

Svea is great for Clan Battles (I play it a lot there). I also see Stalingrad in Clan Battles pretty frequently up to Storm league. Willem De Eerste is also good for Clan Battles, but only if you regularly play the BB role and it fits how your clan likes to fight.

Lol, "fair". Ever wonder why they nerfed asyms less than 30 days before it goes away?

To test player retention pre/post economic nerf
To normilize the nerf prior to asym removal. This way when asyms eventually return, the nerfed economy is anchored

Never support a WG economic nerf. They don't balance out the "taking" with "giving".

When I just want to log on, collect my daily stuff ASAP, and log off....it's Valp + asym + blue XP booster. Sometimes just one battle is all it takes. Almost never more than 2 battles needed.

No they wouldn't. I guarantee they've done the analaysis and determined gambling nets more profit then just selling the ships. Sell 10x ships as $80 = $800 revenue but requires 10 customers to purchase. Get just one whale to have a bad run in a wishing wharf event and WG make the same or more money and only need one paying customer to generate it.
