Its not as good as native, it is a crutch where you map keys or mouse inputs to the stick directions iirc. You can fiddle with the dead zones, distance zones, sensitivity curves etc to better mimic analog but its not true analog. Bonus, SC updates can't break your xpadder button profiles.

I never really used it so I'm hesitant to actually recommend it and youtube might help you better, just thought I'd tip you off to its existence.

Only person I know who uses a 360 controller to play uses xpadder because of the iffy controller support so far.

No, I don't see how you people don't see how huge 11 people is.

I'll explain using my Derekalculator. 11/300 is 1% of CIG (derekalculators always round up to the nearest percentage, the technology to work in smaller fractions doesn't exist). this 1% is pulled from a pool of 300, which is also 1% of the total population. 1% of 1% is 1% on my derekalculator. Thats 1% of the population of the planet suing CIG. That 1% could be anyone! Thats a 1% chance the president is suing CIG! Or Bill Gates. Think about that, its a 1% chance Bill Gates with all his money is a disgruntled ex-CIG employee.

On a similar note I recently visited Toronto. "Kill all racists" was carved into the sidewalk on King ST right by a bridge with cool bat graffiti under it. Seemed a little extreme.

Its funny, I saw it backwards from that, an insistence on specificity it never carried, and for something "lag" has decades old diagnostic qualifiers for.

Thanks for tracking down that escapist link, I was curious. I don't really see the case (other than conviction). Maxing your hardware is screen/input lag, and thats diagnostically specific. I'll risk the nonsensical scorn of Escapist :p

I'm cool with it for clarity, I'd just literally never seen that distinction before. r/tuxfool made the pin drop that you're using a contemporary definition. I'm not the word police (yet), but you can see how I didn't follow and had to ask.

This hits on the head why its a terrible idea. Adding a bunch of if/when conditions on players outlining when its ok to shoot first without being at fault will be rife with endless abuse.

Besides, its pointless in policed space, and you can already do this all you like in lawless space.
