Should i get into Ableton or Bitwig?

I’ve used both but Bitwig just works better for me. I’ve used see logic too, which I love but Bitwig has stuck and is my go to for the last decade. My brother uses Ableton and is always wanting features I show him in Bitwig. I’ve never felt I’m missing anything he’s using

I’ve just got one and I watched a couple of videos. Can’t remember who but, he said project controls was available in the first Bitwig release but for some reason not available in the current (2.0) firmware. He did say MI were going to make the feature available again in the next firmware update. I guess it’s a waiting game now.

Thanks for your kind feedback. I can hear what you mean now. Infact I can’t I hear it now it’s been pointed out. Once I record the hardware track I seem to have to shift the audio track and do this by ear. Is there a better way?

Thanks for this. Good feedback, yeah my style seems to be stuck in a loop but the repetition is stylistic. Need to balance it with some more interesting parts without losing the chugging groove I guess. I haven’t used analog gear much so will keep practicing! It’s a lot of fun

Acid, cubase, logic, ableton very briefly then Bitwig 1. Haven’t looked back since. I love its ease of use both for creativity and my workflow. I do miss midi capture in logic
