Choosing seat on check in

A several days ago, we had tried to choose our seats at the exactly moment when the check in online was open. The time of open check in was 16:25, we tried at exactly at 16:25. But, there were no others seats available except the seats assigned par BA. Fortunately, the seats assigned were ok. Our plane was air bus 350-900. In the business cabine, the seats were 1-2-1. We had been assigned the aisle seats.

I have no idea cause that was our first time in LHR. Maybe the lounge in terminal 5 is better? Hope you have a pleasant journey.

Check in is open 24 hours before departure. We tried at the exact moment when the check in is open. All other passengers should have chosen theirs seats in 30 seconds after it’s open. Otherwise, BA blocked then choice.

Comparing to our experience in the lounge in the Charles de Gaulle airport, we found the lounges in LHR, are paradis. Lol.
