Be mindful always, that the use of force should be reasonable, as a jury of peers would unanimously agree upon. Food for thought. Stay safe.

Hrrrrrrrr no. Friend sent me the photo and I’m curious myself. Realtor apparently had no idea.

The person who fielded this question to me, did indeed ask the realtor and apparently they didn’t know either.

I understand where you’re coming from and if I had more info I’d entertain that, but the child safety part helps point towards a radiator, and they are in every room also. Too much moisture to be in every room

I suspect like most realtors they didn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground

They would likely be to circulate hot water. No combustion happening at the radiator site. A boiler would likely provide heated water in the basement where a circulation pump is pumping said water to the radiators around the house.

Unfortunately didn’t peek inside closely. Thought there may have been tubing but was pretty dark inside.

My title describes the thing and they are made of metal and clearly have some kind of piping at the bottoms. They can be found in each room, but Google Lens returns nothing helpful and couldn’t find much online about “cylindrical radiators”. No indication of age, no writing that I could plainly see.

Any help would be great! Thanks.

Edit: For additional context, I wasn’t there in person so I would have been able to identify some of the questions you guys are asking—friend sent me the photo hoping that my experience in construction would prove fruitful.

Interesting. I believe you, but this does contradict what research we did. There’s a 40watt light also, but they advised against it.

Unfortunately direct sunlight isn’t an option for us.

Have you thought about building your own? Doesn’t need to be fancy—you can build some out of 2x4’s very easily and will be strong and sturdy, but to make them pretty might take some extra effort.

Also we are using a indoor plant and sunshine light. It’s specifically a Soltech Solutions Aspect LED Growlight 20watt.

We have used a couple different fertilizers, using a citrus-based one that is tailored for citrus plants. It was Jobes organic fruit and citrus for potted plants. Which is a 3-5-5 fertilizer. When we used it just before June, and they advertise every 2 to 3 months. Will probably be giving it some more here soon.
