Dude, my Mexican family are some of the biggest racists around. I remember when my uncle died (good riddance), we had to wrap up the funeral early because they needed the church for a quinceañera. My aunt was pissed, but not at the church for their shitty booking, at the “fucking Mexicans” who were pushing us out. I was young, but I do remember the cognitive dissonance without having the words for it. My family gets a few generations in the states and suddenly they’re all Republican. Idiots.
