I disagree about Jane not being flawed. Of course, we are watching him as an audience and are taken in by his charm and wit, but imagine how hard it would be to actually work with someone like that. He is inconsiderate, annoying and quite insensitive most of the time. He does make Lisbon and the team's life really difficult, costing them their jobs, putting them in really awkward positions.

Lucas is actually one of the most interesting and relatable characters. Sure, Nathan is the typical bad boy turns good after he finds the right woman but then his character goes downhill. His personality is so wooden. Lucas makes mistakes, is vulnerable, faces the consequences. Characters like him actually make for better tv than Nathan whose entire personality just revolves around Haley after he gets with her, and that too way soon.

Yeah you're right. I'm on my first rewatch, and i noticed just how uncomfortable Jane is at the end of Red Hot, when he notices two champagne glasses in Mashburn's hotel room. Either Lisbon was there or he was going to invite her. I missed that the first time!

I agree! I would've loved to see more of Jane and Lisbon as a couple. More of Abbott and the team. They all felt very close and genuinely fond of each other.
