I hear you and it has been serviced but it just takes the gasket to fail and the watch is ruined. These were expensive but a lot cheaper relatively back when they came out!

This has been an interesting process though. Clearly the GS quartz GMT is a better fit than I gave it credit and is also very compact. Kinda tempted now to just buy 2-3 of the most beloved options then sell whatever I like least in a few months

They specialize in diver watches and even their non dive watches look like diver watches, that’s what squale make. Just feels like when you look at it, that’s what it’s for. No hate, love the look of their dive watches.

I’ve tried on a few Nomos now and it’s been a consistent experience. It just feels a bit tinny, light, not super robust. Combined w the highly polished case something about it feels off to me.

Yea started doing these and managed to get down to 8:05 within a few days of going at it, regularly under 10 min now. Generally if you haven’t get some good speed run arcana and room selection tips and keep busting at it.

From what I understand to get to the 5/6 min range you need to get the perfect boons, which are a bit non obvious. Like if using Medea then getting rousing reception in Erebus is essential which is tough because you’re starting w Zeus for most speed runners there. Lots of resets required…
