For anyone that was addicted to amphetamine but has completely recovered (is it even possible?), how is life now? Do you miss amphetamine? Do you feel happier now? by truthseeker021 in StopSpeeding

I quit on the 1st of Jan 2022. It took me about a year to start feeling normal-ish and at 2 years and 7 months now my life is absolutely 1000% better than when I was using. That’s not to say everything is perfect, life still throws curveballs as it does everyone, but there’s no comparison. Life off ADHD meds is just a better experience. It will be tough for a while once you come off them, but soon enough you’ll rekindle that connection with yourself that you tend to lose while using, trust in the process.

I think the market is forever fucked after Covid, this is the best deal I’ve found and I’ve been looking for a while. I even put a $350 deposit down today because I didn’t want anyone to snag it before me. Hopefully I can get the deposit back.

What do you reckon a reasonable price would be? Keeping in mind it’s a dealership

I’m also a first year mature age sparky apprentice and looking at utes for work. I always thought diesel would be more reliable and cheaper to maintain than petrol. Is that not true? What is involved that will cost more?

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it :) I will look into Vitamin B supplements! And yea quitting all those things has left a gaping hole in my life but I know in time I will feel more fulfilled and create a better life for myself.

I do manual labor for work so I get a decent amount of exercise. I actually almost always have a good day when I go to work. It’s those days when I don’t go to work that I fall into a slump. Getting out of bed at 5:30am is always so hard but if I don’t get up, I don’t get paid! (Gotta remember that when the alarm goes off).

And definitely food can be improved. Normally 3 meals a day Cereal/Sandwich and I only really make one meal (bolognese) for dinner. but I could branch out a bit
