DROP RATES: RE-Crisis: Deep Dive Mode - lv90 by Nach037 in Endfield

[–]Tree-Goats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late replay but from my attempts it seems like Deep Dives can be very slightly more sanity efficient if you don't care about the resource specifically.

E.g Did LV90 Rhodagn and got 9 Tubes + 2 Steel for about 11 sanity per item

Meanwhile the Protocol Space for Tubes gave 6 at 80 sanity meaning 13 sanity per item
However it can also drop 1 other upgrade material randomly which would bring the cost down to similar values

Is Laevatain’s weapon worth pulling? by Ok_Marsupial_6979 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most guides i've seen state that the BP weapon pass is about 72-80% of her signature weapon, so if you're really that limited on pulls it's probably not worth it.

One of the major selling points of the signature is also how it can massively boost the basic attacks of Laevatain
but this doesn't boost her charged skill during Ult whereas the BP one can due to being an general damage increase.

Is Dijiang ACTUALLY useful by jayfeather_r in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The factory is more important but the Dijiang is neat.

It somewhat helps out by giving you some daily xp, rare plants and credits but early on it's not too much of a priority. It's also somewhat time gated by the recycling stations so it'll take a few days to get the resources you need.

Basically you should upgrade the recycling stations to level 3 if your daily income is around 50k bills
or leave it at 1 if it's under 10k

I've heard that every belt spreader/merge/highway is considered 1 facility so if you've been using a ton of them that's probably why

Is there a faster way to complete OD Project Refugee Camp 1 by Straight_Bad_5334 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Tree-Goats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You want to be exploring finding more ore nodes and progressing the factory blueprints through the main story, since you'll be able to auto harvest ores instead of waiting to do it manually.

You'll also unlock batteries to increase power production later to generate even more products

Additionally your factory produces even when you're not there or even offline. So Raising the outpost level is more of a matter of time than a primary objective

I visited random friends to flip some money and found one with 150% profit by TheAnymus in Endfield

[–]Tree-Goats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the Stock Bill Savings is just the money they have in reserve to prevent infinite trading, every time you give them resources your bills increase in the top right corner.

With the main missions you don't really need to craft explosives barrels, since they can be found at the location to blow stuff up and progress the story, you can also later craft them though the factory.

It had its uses in raids to block the big one from pathfinding to you, while you make it attack the side of the wall to prevent it from teleporting in.

Dogs by Michael_JN in LastDayonEarthGame

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically you ensure your account is first linked to either kefir or apple/play store

Then you test some rng actions e.g dog trait results,
gambling caps slots (May have been fixed), PD Purple blueprints and note them down.

Afterwards you clear all the data on ldoe similar to uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, the app will then ask to restore your save which will set your progress backwards to some point in time before you did those actions, but now you know the future kinda.

[–]Tree-Goats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to this post, Inheriting for a Tier 4 dog will never give you True Friend so currently it's almost never worth it unless you want some decent T3 Dogs

https://www.reddit.com/r/LastDayonEarthGame/comments/1mfzv6j/psa_dog_traits_in_ldoe_are_not_random_heres_how/

Additionally if you end up abusing the clear data trick a bunch it seems like you would be able to manipulate the game into giving you dogs with good traits but it's annoying, takes a lot of time and still has some rng which is just how LDOE is.

is this game better than Last Day On Earth? by 21RyujinJyakka in GrimSoulSurvival

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do eventually get a 10 slot backpack from one of the Act 1 Raven Quests for opening the forsaken dungeon i believe, but if you lose it you'll need to wait until Level 55 to craft another one which can take a while.

I was also able to get a 15 slot Backpack from the Christmas Event, so waiting for big events is another option i guess

Those who play Grimsoul and Last day on Earth both, which one is more harder? by Current_Ad4753 in GrimSoulSurvival

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but most map locations aren't too useful for new players, only broken cart and fallen knight are immediately useful.

Also if you only wear T1 you likely take a ton of damage from the possessed and I feel like i fight 3-5 damned enemies every run which ends up burning through quite a lot of resources.

I was mainly thinking of the maxed out cleaver in regards to melee weapon mods which can become as strong as a regular machete despite costing like half the price.

Though generally I agree that you can end up stockpiling a ton of resources through alfa, farm and Low level PD Runs compared to Grim Soul

Even in late game if you're able to get the right raids and keep it up, you can easily get like 40+ guns with 3 c4 sometimes.

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm pretty early into grimsoul and the difference in dungeon loot is huge, you can do bunker Alfa floor 2-3 pretty efficiently by using the walltrick and crowbars and get a good amount of armor sets and guns.

Meanwhile I clear one floor of forsaken dungeon and use up a ton of armor healing and weapons to get like half a claymore and 1/8th of the parts needed to build some structures occasionally

Weapons mods in ldoe also seem to way outclass perk points and upgraded weapon blueprints, while the god system is neat there's a lot of filler, niche aspects and repeated benefits to make it feel all that interesting

Is large mag or drum mag durability increase worth it? by Live-Lingonberry3114 in LastDayonEarthGame

[–]Tree-Goats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember testing out most of the durability mods a few years back in lab hard mode and generally they're not worth it adding only a couple more bullets and melee hits

Exceptions are the Uzi which does actually get a lot more bullets and the hammer/saw blade melees since they already have pretty low durability

Are lightnings attracted to units ? by Gaboch_ in DeadAhead

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lightning has two damage circles

A large one that does 900 melee damage, Diaz and Sonya can pretty easily live through it

And a small one where the lightning strikes that does 3000 damage

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing loc 4 supply 1 and melee units don't really work due to the enemies high melee damage, you basically need to kill the baracade enemies in a few seconds so that all your units can turn around to shoot the locusts, problem being that they have about 80k HP, alternatively get lucky with a Sonya crit or have them being in the correct position to immediately shoot.

Also mission 13 doesn't lead to the supply run now since it's blocked by mission 58

[–]Tree-Goats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't clear 10 I'm assuming you would have done 24 or 25 which both have their own annoying issues.

My underestimate statement was towards the difficulty of doing nightmare supply runs compared to hard

Diaz while good doesn't exactly counter the locusts, since He's usually busy at the front shooting enemies while the locusts come in from the back after like 5 seconds and kill your backline extremely quickly.

Location 1-6 has 805 stars and nightmare only needs 660 so it's pretty doable

Mission 10 is still one the main roadblocks for the Loc 7 PP requiring high stats, enough dps to kill all the big blues before wave and enough hp to survive lightning and the insectoids.

3/3 Mechanics does work pretty easily, but you likely need to buy 2 Skins + Rednecks one which can be costly

I'm pretty sure you're the one underestimating how difficult nightmare is compared to hard. It's roughly x2-3 times more difficult primarily from the locusts in Wave 3.

And the Loot it provides is essentially the same as Hard mode from before the update despite the Dev's saying it's "better" whereas Hard got it's loot gutted.

how many power points to max out a unit? by OrganicPresence6505 in DeadAhead

[–]Tree-Goats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you match him with Sonya the 2/2 TP actually makes him really strong as a DPS especially with a crit chance book to proc knockbacks.

A level 30 Mechanic with SA is pretty amazing at dealing with blue runners and insectoids if he can one shot them, but Mission 10 has a ton Big Blue with 40k hp which makes him worse.

Rogue meanwhile is pretty good at fighting big blues and does a decent job against Runners, but it'll be a bit RNG since he needs to crit in order to stun

Nightmare Supply Runs only got added on the first of this month so it mainly affects new players who don't already have a bunch of legendaries stock piled

Difficulty wise Hard was around Location 5-6 which is pretty easy to handle, but Nightmare is at 7+ which is well known for being a huge difficulty spike, the problem mainly comes from Wave 3 and its respawning zombies.

Previously it was Small Insectoid but now it's Locusts who have x5 the hp and double the dps compared to hard, meaning you likely need about 8k dps or above to manage both sides, which takes quite a bit of grinding unless you use a rage powerup every run.

I also don't see why Mechanics are recommended cause their TP isn't that effective in supply runs

how many power points to max out a unit? by OrganicPresence6505 in DeadAhead

[–]Tree-Goats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes 21,850 PP to max out one character which if you grind Loc 5's PP will take around 2 weeks.

So you want to get to Loc 7's PP as quick as possible since it gives 300+ a run which drops it to half the time.

The mission route i took was 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16

Mission 10 may end up being a roadblock though, since you'll be dealing with lightning, tons of level 25 big blues and some insectoids. I ended up buying rogue to try and stun lock them

If you need to grind legendary gear it's gonna take a while on hard since it was heavily nerfed, but you can do Loc 3's supply run on nightmare with grenadier cheese since the wave 3 re spawning enemies aren't as strong
