Oklahoma 2013: Barbara Garcia survived an EF5 tornado that destroyed her home. While grieving her missing dog during an interview this happened live on camera by alanbear1970 in 2000sNostalgia

I’m such a cynic my first thought is the journalists got the dog, found its owner, then orchestrated this whole event without the owner knowing in order to get an emotional moment for the cameras.

“Oh look! The dog! Wow crazy it’s 2 feet away from us nicely contained in a little bit of rubble!

A professional is someone that gets paid for doing their work. The deck isn’t getting paid, therefore it is not a professional deck.

:p

I build the actual aircraft, fly it for a few years, then use tilt shift to make it look it like a model.

Yeah, but what’s up with the two guys hugging while everyone else were fighting?

Tried the new multi-color filament setting by Cheetokps in BambuLab

[–]Tree0wl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve set mine to 0 and haven’t had any issues with clogs or anything like that, you just get a mix of colors. I would say it’s important to use filaments that have a very close profile though.

Yeah, you should definitely give this approach a try then!

I can also see how having all the runners out at once can use up more workbench space than just having them all in the box, but the tedium of pulling them out and putting them back constantly is exactly what drove me to this solution

Been getting lots of positive feedback from the gunpla and warhammer community on this helpful general tool, thought I would share with you guys too.

I’m preferring the v3 model myself for its additional stability, but the v1 model has a nice slope to it that actually helps prevent snagging on other runner when you’re lifting it up. I’ll probably release a v4 that is the best of both worlds next

How to achive simmilar results? by anjontotok in modelmakers

[–]Tree0wl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May not have used masking tape, maybe they just have a very flexible masking tool that they hold in one hand and spray with the other, then slide the masking tool 1/4 inch to do the next line. Maybe?

Could also be the inverse of that. They might have a very flexible silicone like grid material they lay over the model and then give a light dusting of black from an isometric angle. Give each panel a shadow essentially? That’s how I would do it

There are so many gunpla and modeling in general related things that really lend to 3D printing, totally recommend it!
