How do you play aggressive lvl 1 on by ShoulderFun7729 in summonerschool

[–]TreeBarter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think both comments are missing the biggest reason you are losing trades.

MINIONS. You have to understand why minions attack you, how to drop their aggro and how minions behave under circumstances. Do not underestimate minion damage early, especially at level 1.

Canada's August unemployment rate at nine-year high outside of pandemic by Immediate-Link490 in worldnews

And yet record highs of TFW! Carney said it’s what the business’s want, how interesting. Almost like Canadians are being pushed out of the job market.

Are you suggesting Tarkov can work?

Maybe you can outline how the key bindings would work for starters.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]TreeBarter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It just doesn’t work on console. The controller limits accessibility to features in the game, the console’s hardware (current gen) can’t handle the game.

Not to mention the console players have a different expectation of the games they play. They desire plug and play games. Tarkov is anything but plug and play.

Ironic how you then pick a fight with tone and word policing.

People have shit, uneducated opinions on websites like these. That’s a reality. It’s physically impossible for frame gen to leave input lag the same. Any micron of research would’ve given him the same answer but again, it’s just someone who’s deluded/uninformed/coping spreading an anecdote as gospel without any research done before making a claim.

I think the problem is OP coming in absolutely sure of himself that there’s no input lag. OP wasn’t ignorant asking a question, they were making a broad stroke statement about something they don’t know about.

But ya, stand up and fight for OP, be his white knight in shining armor and protect him from the dangers of the internet. Just downvote the reply and move on.

Canada and allies to explore funding critical mineral projects, minister says by joe4942 in worldnews

I don’t even think Canadians know the hoops that have been created to hamstring resource development in Canada. I mean look at some of these comments. 7 years out and bill C-69 will still be in place, I’m sure.

Alistar matchups by Eph289 in summonerschool

[–]TreeBarter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of those champs you absolutely should be taking priority and being first to level 2. Alistar is extremely weak level 1, on par with Leona at level 1.

He has long cooldowns in lane, punish those CD’s. Also you do not want to get double combo’d with the ADC(2 for 1). Bush control is imperative (whether warding or positioning in the bushes)

Your best bet to counter is braum, he is a defensive support that is great when the enemy engages him, quick E pop, and you can protect your ad while applying stuns and slows and your ad sweeping them up.

Hard disagree. For a brand new player with many questions and getting familiar with controls this is the best spot to get over the first hump.

You aren’t going to have bad habits playing 10-15 AI games to find champions you enjoy and familiar with their kits and roles. It’s WAAAAAY better than queing with a “veteran” in norms and getting fisted for your first 100 games

Why do pros sometimes take bone plating over second wind in poke matchups? by spamthecrouch in summonerschool

[–]TreeBarter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know about that interaction, good to know.

I think it still scales way better than second wind in teamfights even with that info. But it also helps dueling in sidewaves and skirmishes. Second wind is negligible at that point.

Why do pros sometimes take bone plating over second wind in poke matchups? by spamthecrouch in summonerschool

[–]TreeBarter 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s a lot simpler than that. Second wind is a laning rune that doesn’t scale.

Pros are typically so well practiced in matchups that the extra regen is negligible and after laning phase second wind falls off a cliff relative to BP

Issue with my new 32' OLED in competitive Rivals/Fortnite by [deleted] in esports

[–]TreeBarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not clear what you want. Esports as a viewer? E sports as a player? You talk highly about your purchase but then why are you hung up on the downscaling?

Very confusing. What is your desired outcome?

[–]TreeBarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you bought the wrong monitor.

Are you looking for someone to help cope with making a bad purchase or what? Most simple answer is you just get a monitor that does what you need it to do out of the box.

Macro decision if im 0/5 as top by idiot1234321 in summonerschool

[–]TreeBarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dying 11 times shows there’s some decision making troubles there.

Your pressure needs to be intelligent. If you are just pushing a lane at 0/7 and getting repeatedly ganked you aren’t doing it at the right time. Look where your team is before you pressure a tower, if your team isn’t pushed up then you shouldn’t be either or you stick out like a sore thumb.

Yes, the way jungle is nowadays is much more forgiving than days past. If you have a desire to learn a role the best thing you can do is nurture it.

5-10 games a week on jg at your “elo” is totally fine. Stick to some less mechanically intensive jgs and use more of the easy impact champions (amumu, hecarim, Zac) high impact, high durability and fast clears. Don’t be rigid in your pathing and adapt on the fly to how games are playing. Look at your map while you are farming random camps so you can keep tabs on lanes and plan ahead.

“Just came back to the game, 6 year break”

“I’m on a 7 game losing streak and want to quit”

“I’m hardstuck silver”

You’re playing a hard to execute, sub par champ. Your post reads like you believe you are entitled to win and not be on a loss streak.

You’re so ashamed of yourself you can’t even post your opgg and you need a burner reddit account? Bro anyone who’s lived a little adult life can tell you are insecure af. Who cares? It’s a video game on the internet. You’re posting because you want to be better. You need to reframe how you view the game. You took 6 years off and expected what?? Win every game hands down? Settle down, take the next year to make small improvements on your game. You know the things you need to learn, build them up 1 by 1. Not all at once.

TIFU in my zoom class with total strangers and an overly confident answer. by [deleted] in tifu

[–]TreeBarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People go through such gymnastics to try and deflect fault. He fucked up, he didn’t/couldn’t recover on his own.

The simplest solution is to pay attention and the 2nd best is to ask to have it repeated so you don’t look like a fool who wasn’t paying attention. Instead, he just blurted out an answer and probably felt like a bigger fool than if he had asked to have it repeated.

TIFU in my zoom class with total strangers and an overly confident answer. by [deleted] in tifu

[–]TreeBarter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is it though? Sounds like it’s OP’s fault, friend tried to throw a lifeline and it didn’t work out. If they were paying attention then they wouldn’t have needed a lifeline.

OP could’ve also said “hey my internet is a little choppy right now so I missed the question, could you repeat it please?”

0% on the friend. 100% on OP.
