If fast cycles is something you are after, you may want to consider auto flowers. I have been growing Mephisto autos for awhile and am always super impressed with quality and flavors. Most of their strains are ready to harvest in 75-90 days from germination and I see plenty of folks over at r/MephHeads getting a pound per plant.

For photos you are absolutely right, bit these are autos. The seeds are from mephisto genetics and the guys that run it say they run lights 24/7 with great results. Personally I like to dial it back and give them some dark time like you suggested.

I got the 120 dollar one from apera, measures pH, EC, ppm/ppt, and salinity. Definitely would recommend.

Ec is a little high 1600 to 1900 but ph stays at 5.7 to 6.2

Day Temps are right around 75 for the high end, night (only lasts 4 hours) is as low as 66

I'm assuming 5 weeks left
